Baseline map running: Awful.

Base game not rewarding? you must be kidding me.

Pretty much like every other league with addition to the shipping juice.
But some people totally forgot what the regular loot always felt like after getting spoiled like crazy during affliction league.
I think tota also left some issues on players as some didn't even encounter any mapping during that league either.

This. I stand by this.

I'm glad I didn't get into the Affliction juicing strats when it happened, because apparently it rotted the brains of everyone who became addicted to MF. What I'm experiencing right now is pretty normal and on par with every single league that came before and after it.

I was fine with tota mapping because there were methods for pure mapping that allowed for specialized drops.

The changes made to exile/ghosts and variable other things this league has led to even specialized atlas strategies not being great. Simple example would be meticulous appraiser in tota league was sick for SSF which I play. It's extremely awful now especially when tied to the scarab changes.

People who are making this about me being upset for not getting affliction loot are missing the point completely. I think its disingenuous to the conversation. I don't miss affliction or I would have posted during necropolis, right?

Affliction was what was called a farce during the victorian age. A short, ridiculous comedy for the plebs that can't afford real theatre.

Let alone the fact that if you accidently pressed your alt key your game would crash. ;P No it was to much by a lot and not even close...Peoples mindsets are damaged now. It was borrowed power, get over it^^

Get ready for poe 2, we don'T want that arcade zoom zoom in there, let it go^^

Are you trying to convince the people on the forums, the devs, or yourself? It's a free to play videogame that relies on people buying stashtabs and glowing wings to make money. Sometimes the leagues are hit, sometimes miss, but it's all comedy for the plebs. It's not like POE was Russian Ballet until Affliction hit. Good lord.
I think people forget how much lake of kaladra nerfed unjuiced drops by at least 30-50% imo( it was a huge decrease no matter how you cut it) and then this league they removed all quant from gear and did some other shenanigans. Like I got 2 chaos finishing the campaign, haven't seen a divine despite being in endtier maps.

Personally I think balancing drops around trade is one of ggg's worst decisions and has hurt the game and its reception. The economy sucks and makes any drop feel worthless, unless it happens to be meta and rare.

Ground drops are abysmal. They feel worse then they have ever been. GGG should improve things. No life terminal online players will never be satisfied. At least try to make things better for those who finish the campaign.

Maybe those who feel the game is too rewarding should play ruthless, i.e. the mode with less.

D4 did it and ended up boring to an extreme. No drop is exciting there, nothing feels rewarding as you get plenty of stuff for standing still. Participation trophy?
Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"

Been saying town upkeep feels like a chore because mapping isn't fun and I HAVE to do it for gold.

Weird considering Affliction and Tota had such great retention. Guess people really hated MFing in Affliction or feeding the MFers with high value items that came from anything not MF mapping. Guess they were miserable so they stuck around more.

Some people just like their games to be played without their input.

lmao this!

Its so carzy to me how people refuse to accept that affliction was one of the most liked and played league we've had.

Like, having different opinion is crazy? For me affliction was shit league, boring, deprived of any rewarding moments, as mirrors were raining left and right. Some people don't value participation trophies.
