Just roll past it and move on.
That is a way to deal with the problem, it's not an argument that there is no problem. I want the problem gone for good. I already know how to deal with it, don't need you for that.
And this is exactly why threads about t17s/rolling them and their mods keep popping up. People want these maps to be improved, because right now its better for me to just sell them than try to roll them. If I try to roll one I'm just deleting chaos orbs.
If you knew how to roll maps you'd also know that you're easily multiplying your chaos investment just from raw chaos drops alone.
Decently rolled T16.5 and T17 maps have so many chaos drops in them that they're not even worth picking up unless it's a stack. Unless you enjoy spending 15 minutes+ looting per map, then go ahead. Which is likely if you're using a bad filter.
That's not deleting currency, you're just not good enough to be in T17 maps to begin with. It's a player problem, not something that is inherently wrong with the maps.

"Git gud" and "skill issue" do not excuse badly designed parts of a game.
I don't wanna run all the cringe t17 mods, and t16.5 maps are just the same thing. And some mods are literally impossible to run cus they disable entire builds.
Also you're assuming I run a t17 with full modifiers, when I actually use Scarab of Bisection to delete prefixes/suffixes. That makes it have like 150 quant barely and almost no extra rewards.
This is completely a problem with how t17s are designed. If they're so cringe that I'm forced to run them without any rewards, and I go negative currency by doing so then thats bad game design. I'm always better off selling them lmao, even with Regular neversink and picking up everything while fullclearing the most I get is some scarabs and a few chaos. Maybe more chaos if I get a good exarch altar.
So I will continue to give my feedback that rolling and running t17s is cringe, and until they fix it I will continue to ignore that content and selling all of my t17s the moment they drop.

Weird hill to die on but you do you. You can always play alc and go T16 or below if you're more comfortable, it'll pay for your challenges without taking away from the majority who actually engage with the endgame and it's intended systems.
Which is what PoE is all about: Using currency to engage with content X. Always has been, always will be.

.
I have a pretty strict filter and I still pick up every single one. Gotta pump that pilfer ring!
It's also not hard to loot as you go in abyss hordes (unless there are fkn volatiles haha)

The mods are only cringe because you refuse to play a good build man.

Its not about what build someone plays lol, the maps are cringe to roll and most of the modifiers are annoying. Map mods shouldn't even affect the player, only enemies. And some of them scale so hard from atlas effect that they turn from reducing something by 60% to reducing it by 100% which also bricks parts of people's builds. They need to put a cap on how much map mods can scale.
Not everyone has hundreds of divines to spend on some meta build with mageblood to do these horribly designed maps. Which is why feedback like this exists, unless they make these maps runnable by normal players imma keep ignoring them and selling them.

Your viewpoint is understandable, because it is biased by your experience playing a sub-optimal build. If you played a good build, had the experience of blasting thru a t17 or juicy 16.5, your enemies melting at the mere sight of you, the tings raining from the heavens, you would not be here arguring about rolling maps. You would be basking in the glory of your riches.

That's cool and all, but that's literally like less than 5% of players that are rich enough to copy paste a meta build that can farm these maps. This is exactly the problem, whats the point of making content barely anyone can even touch?
Most people should be able to run t17s, they should be fun. And they should give you more currency than you would get by selling them. Otherwise I'm not interested in content like this with """friction""" or "difficulty". Its all fake. Map mods that just tell you "you don't get to play the game" are uncreative, fake difficulty.

Wrong. You can comfortably farm T17 maps on most builds, even in average gear. You just need to utilize the systems the game offers you. That includes using currency to roll your maps properly and maybe not playing a build that maxes out at 13k eHP. Seriously, you can have those numbers at the end of the campaign by running just one (1) defensive aura.
It isn't hard. Better builds allow you to run more mods for sure but that's where the excuses end. You getting farmed by pixels isn't a design flaw. Become a better player and rise to the occasion.
