Out of touch - congrats you've made POE 1.5

That's true - POE 2 is nothing what was promised.

IT's just in pace poe 1
- one shot or be one shoted is 90% of the situations.
- Game rewards more projectiles, more speed and there's nothing like "less projectiles and more damage" situations"
- poor clarity what is going on screen. To much of monsters, monsters are not tough, it's just zooming.
- presentation showcased as example this OWL: all negative stuff = more projectiles, more projectile speed, effects on ground.. terrible design.

I have 0 interest in this kind of play style. I want to be able to enjoy my build deep into the endgame without all that. If after 100, 200 hours or whatever my build achieves this type of godhood then that’s the time I stop playing since that’s when I feel I essentially beat the game.
Agreed i won't play it. I played 0.1 and it was great. After that max 50 hours in it.

At this point, I'm just trying to figure out why there are even two games (besides the marketing aspect of course)

The more i think about it, the less it makes sense

The original plan was to have 2 campaigns for poe 1, but we know that the great majority of players would just choose the one that is faster to complete, or the one who gives them the most rewards, so that was a bad idea from the very beginning

Then, they decided to turn the expansion into a standalone game, splitting into two separate teams, but now the games are starting to look almost identical

Wouldn't be better to have focused on improving poe 1?

Yes sir, it was "one game, two campaigns". I remember watching ExileCon in 2019 when they announced POE2.

One of the reasons the discussions get so emotionally charged: It's being compared to the vision established back in 2019.

Additionally, since it was first announced in 2019, the "Early Access" label feels a little long in the tooth (for me at least).

Guys but you know that you can parry whole game all day long? You can skip all "slop" you called it? Poe2 its not even close to poe1 pace. Yes tou can get there. But you can beat all content without it. And such builds are multi mirror one so giga late game for true blasters so stop yapping, poe2 is good as it is

I whish for slower, more tactical combat as well. Lets hope they added at least the monster density reduction to the new atlas tree as choice node.
Exactly, well said OP.

One thing I should add is that, ironically, even "Int players" won't be as rewarded anymore with the addition of ingame build guides.

So, really, most people will be going through the motions of a game without really feeling any real achievement. 10/10, great job GGG

And trust me, more people then ever will use a build guide now especially as they add tons of bloat all of a sudden to the game, with more to come.

People always enjoy clowning on blizzard, but GGG isn't that far off.
"Sigh"

Yeah here is the proof. I found it in Dreamcore's video at 6:40
Jonathan said it during 0.4 ZiggyD Q&A vid

Thanks for showing me that GGG has became a total joke.

Good luck guys, I hope you get your slow paced game because I 100% don't care what they do from now on if removing rarity on gear is in their plan.

I have heard enough stupidity already, I got the message clear now.

"I disagree with what you're saying so I will just hand wave all your points"

This is you. Engage with the argument instead of adding nothing of substance.
