But that’s exactly what I enjoy in the game: solving unusual problems with the infinite tech Path of Exile offers.

SO why do you want to play SAME build again? SOmething doesnt add up here.

why can't he huh? WHY CAN'T HE???? WHAT YOU DO LOSE FROM ME BEING ABLE TO PLAY THE GODDAMN BUILDS I ENJOY EVERY LEAGUE WITHOUT THEM GETTING DELETED? I WANT TO PLAY WHAT I WANT TO PLAY

Because he "likes solving problems". There is no problems left to solve in a build he already played.

hows that a reason to want a build to be deleted so selfish i have much more fun league starting something im familiasr with and know i like than potentially playing something that might have good damage but have a playstyle i dont like this sucks now idk what to league start with ggg is awful at balancing
Its not reason why "it needs to be deleted'. Its a reason why it shouldnt bother him that it got deleted.

Just out of curiosity, why are you playing a build you don’t like? And is the only solution for you to stop playing it if the build gets removed from the game? Is this some sort of OCD?

I like the build because it's simple(before Hexblast I played Toxic Rain Mines, I like Mines) and I played it so much I had my own build guide and videos. I had Mageblood by day ~6/7 and a 40/40 challenge video guide by day 14. The build costed nothing so it was easy to blast and buy big items. I'm not/wasn't a normal player. The first two weeks of a league I slept 1.5 hours a day at most, after playing 2-3 days straight at a time.

POE was the last good game, but the last few/several leagues have been an entirely separate game inside the game, designing graveyards or AFK farmville... My goal every league was to finish maps, get Mageblood then 40/40 challenges. The challenges were really the reason I was playing, not because they were a challenge, but it was a thing with a with an endpoint. I can't just play for the sake of making currency.

Being "forced" to engage in awful league content to complete the challenges was the big straw. Taking away the build that made it tolerable was the "last straw."

Really, I'll have to assess the challenges for 3.26 to see if I want to continue gathering trophies JUST IN CASE...POE has good leagues again. I can do Icicle Mines, Ball Lightning Mines or Ice Trap, maybe.
REAL why the hell am I forced to play something else? why don't they just make something else be as viable if they want their stupid meta shake up and let me play what I want
most skills suck and they choose to delete one of the few that don't balance team is a myth I think they just use chat gpt
a dmg nerf would be enough but ggg ggs this gem :<

ty for nothing

In the POBs I listed from 3.25 and 3.24, I did 3.8BILLION DPS this league and 8BILLION DPS the previous league. If they nerf me appropriately, they make it useless for the rest of you casuals anyway.
Wow, it seems I left a real head-scratcher for many here. If I like solving problems while building, why would I want to play the same build again? The answer is: I don’t.

I was in the process of making a build guide for others because it was one of the most fun builds I’ve ever played in Path of Exile. I planned to play a different build this league. However, since I like to experiment, I often end up with underperforming builds, which eventually need to be rerolled into something viable for farming.

Just accept that many players don’t follow build guides. And not everyone is buying mirrors from Chinese sites at league start. All of my builds cost a maximum of 10–20 divines.

With mirror-tier investment, almost any skill will break the game. For me, that’s not fun. If the only solution to a problem is “throw more money at it” that’s not building, that’s just playing around in a sandbox.
10-20 divines is one hour of grind. IF you dont spend more on builds, you are the one who plays in sandbox mode because you never need to grind for you builds.

You acuse others of RMT because you cant admit others are way more skilled at making currency. You cannot comprehend that people who like build they play can spend week of grind 5-7h/day just to buy one item. You cannot comprehend that people can play one build for hundreds of hours upgrading gear before they consider being done with it.

10-20 divines per build? Yeah, if any build can be strong on budged you get in 1-2h hours of playing endgame, it should get nerfed asap.
This is ARPG. Point of this game is to get gradually stronger untill you are walking god. If you stop gearing your character the moment you finish campaign, you might as well "play" in PoB.

You like solving problems? Here is problem for you to solve - how to get more currency so, using in game mechancics, so even 200 divines per build sounds like "not that much". Do that and you will never need to worry about your builds being nerfed, not having enough skills to try out etc, because you will have 10 times more skills to pick from.
Game will never be balanced around low gear that everyone can get day one.
