Why was Hexblast destroyed???
10-20 divines is one hour of grind. IF you dont spend more on builds, you are the one who plays in sandbox mode because you never need to grind for you builds.
You acuse others of RMT because you cant admit others are way more skilled at making currency. You cannot comprehend that people who like build they play can spend week of grind 5-7h/day just to buy one item. You cannot comprehend that people can play one build for hundreds of hours upgrading gear before they consider being done with it. 10-20 divines per build? Yeah, if any build can be strong on budged you get in 1-2h hours of playing endgame, it should get nerfed asap. This is ARPG. Point of this game is to get gradually stronger untill you are walking god. If you stop gearing your character the moment you finish campaign, you might as well "play" in PoB. You like solving problems? Here is problem for you to solve - how to get more currency so, using in game mechancics, so even 200 divines per build sounds like "not that much". Do that and you will never need to worry about your builds being nerfed, not having enough skills to try out etc, because you will have 10 times more skills to pick from. Game will never be balanced around low gear that everyone can get day one. Last edited by Aynix#7757 on Jun 10, 2025, 3:44:40 AM

" Genuinely, what are these supposed 10-button mirror-tier builds doing only 1M DPS? That just sounds like straight up cope. There’s not a single skill that needs mirror gear or a full keyboard dance to break 1M DPS. Even warcry spam builds, some of the most button intensive in the game right now don’t reach that kind of over the top clunk. You’re either wildly exaggerating or just mad your comfy meta crutch got taken away. And honestly, I don’t care what you play, just like you say you don’t care what I play. But facts are facts: your favorite popular go-to build got nuked, and now you're salty. Good, Deal with it. GGG isn’t going to reconsider their balancing decisions just because you, or whoever else shows up foaming at the mouth about wanting to play a specific build. Let’s be real, they’re probably just as amused by the flood of patch day salt as the rest of us. A lot of other builds are just as good, if not better, than the current so called “meta” picks. Thinking only the popular streamer builds are viable really shows a certain level of inexperience. Changes happen every league, and they will keep happening whenever GGG decides something needs to be toned down. That’s how any game works. Don’t get too attached to whatever the next new popular go-to build is either, cause odds are, it’ll have its one league of fame and get dumpstered right after. Lol. I'm not expecting ggg to change any thing I'm just expressing my disdain for this awful decision to not just nerf a skill but remove it from the game while there's so few actually good skills to start with

hexblast kept getting buffed over the years and instead of reverting some of those buffs they just delete it this shi doesn't even make sense

" League starter build. You know what is it? Apparently not because you say that you can farm 20 divs in an hour on day one... Sound like currency buying for me. So every player starts with a budget starter build with 10-20 divs investment and start to far currency with it. Some upgrade the build further some start an other build with the currency. The only alternative, that you magically get the currency for money. Last edited by djuq4l#1584 on Jun 10, 2025, 5:42:44 AM

" Sounds like skill issue to me. If you never go past "league starter builds with league start budget" you shouldnt talk about balance, because PoE will never be balanced around such thing. They balance game around fully polished builds with very good gear that take a lot of grind. If you can just delete everything with "starting gear" whats even the point of grinding further? If thats your way of playing, thats on you, you can play as you choose to. But dont complain when the game isnt balanced around your way of playing. " ME: I can make a build on a budget which can efficiently farm end game. YOU: skill issue Are you sure that it's not just your ego talking because someone managed to get the same dps and ehp from 10 divs what you needed 200 divs for? |

More like
You: I can only play skills that are so OP that you dont need more than 20 div budget items, and if builds requires more, its garbage. Why the game has so few viable skills?! |

" I never said if a build requires 100 of divs is garbage, I said it's uninspiring. So you can make a build for 3 mirrors which one-shot the entire screen? Wow amazing! Now do that with 20 divs. Which one requires more knowledge and skill? I made builds for hundred of divs for theory crafting purposes. And yes after some amount of currency you can break the game with any skill. You stop here and I don't because the next step is to make the same build on a budget. Now that's the challenge. |

" Your posts in the last page say very clearly that you are MASSIVELY over-representing the average player and their progress, time investment and ability in PoE. You might be right that the game will never be balanced around normal players, but make no mistake; spending 200div on your average build is far from normal. I've never played hexblast mines; I think I hated the character before level 60 or something, but it is completely asinine that they nerfed it in a way that removed the ability to play the archetype altogether, rather than nerfing its power. Why would they arbitrarily delete an existing build entirely, rather than (potentially vastly) depowering it? Changing the meta is all well and good, but randomly pinning the tail on the donkey and deleting a build entirely from even functioning is very rare, and usually accompanied by a raft of lateral changes and an explanation for the reasoning why.
