The BIGGEST ISSUE with the POE2 community is THINKING IT SHOULD BE JUST LIKE POE1.
Dude who hasn't touched the first game since Scourge league is telling you exactly how poe1 was and that people who worry are totally just wishing it to be just like poe1.
Get out of the forums buddy, you barely touched the first game, you will barely touch the 2nd one too. |

Some people are complaining that maps should be like POE1, small enough for "Runners" to dash around like crazy blowing everything up. If GGG pays attention to this insane audience, they’ll ruin their own vision.
If you want to play Vampire Survivors, go play POE1. |

" The developers are and they've flat out stated that they want the game to be different from what PoE1 is. They were very transparent about what PoE2 was going to be, the problem was people weren't listening. |

" If they didn't want a poe1 like game they shouldn't have made a sequel. No one should have to trudge through hours of random interviews to see something like that when the bar of expectation has been set as "this is a sequal" you are defending bad marketing dude |

imho my take on this is I don't care. Just going to be curious what the developers come up with.
Honestly I really loved the campaign and slow playstyle during the campaign. And I also love absolutely blowing everything up and being fast in the current endgame and where it feels a bit more like PoE1. |

" They took the worst parts of poe1 that had the lowest player interaction and were optional to dos and made them unskippable core mechanics then butchered every other core mechanic to make it appear more meaningful and simple when all they ever needed to do and STILL need to do it change how the new player interacts with the game. So many other massive games still have new players getting into them only poe can't make a decent ramp Don't get me wrong here I enjoyed the skills and bosses but by end game it all gets taken away and I found myself questioning the design choices. Great game but man does it need direction and polish Last edited by Th1sGuy255255#8969 on Dec 30, 2024, 9:42:22 AM

I agree 100%
The thing that upsets me the most in fact is the similarity of endgame, that in my most humble opinion should not be like poe1, therefore should be reworked to fit another kind of gameplay |
|
" The problem is have with endgame is that in reality both poe1 and 2 have "infinite" systems but poe1 has more identity to those systems. Higher tier maps you won't see till you can run them. Poe2 is a pick your teir making all maps lose their character. What's interesting about mapping if all I do is pick how hard I want the same maps I've seen hundreds of times? |

I'm a poe1 enjoyer, I don't think think it should be like poe1 but it also should not be disgustingly terrible just to move around your character, it is too fucking slow u cant even walk without falling asleep on your keyboard, and also maps are 10x bigger so have fun and the fog of war? wow lets not talk about that
