Issues too, crash to desktop on average every 15 minutes. Sometimes with an error message and sometimes without. Here are two examples of messages I've gotten, but there were more.
Exception: Queue signal failed Exception: vk::Device::acquireNextImageKHR: ErrorDeviceLost I have tried every suggestion about throttling the CPU and whatnot, without any improvement. I find that it lasts longer before it crashes if I run it in fullscreen at 1080p (the game otherwise runs smooth at 4K windowed fullscreen). If I just restart the game after the crash, it will work maybe 10 minutes and then crash again. If I restart the game once more, the crash will come sooner and sooner and eventually crash in main menu or when starting the game. If I then restart my computer, then it can go for maybe an hour before the crashing starts. Ryzen 5 7600 AMD 6700 XT Windows 11 23H2 |

Had my game open for the past 10h (couldn't play all this time, bit of work, meetings, etc) but I was having the issue before making a few alterations.
May happen again, maybe not, who knows, lol. Maybe the info helps someone 1) Used task manager affinity settings to disable last 2 cores of my CPU 2) Changed DLSS from DLAA to quality 3) Limited my foreground FPS within in-game settings to 100 and background to 30 all the rest were my default settings. Before that, my game would hard crash the PC every 1~2 hours. Running: Win 11 latest (as well as latest bios, drivers, etc) 4090, 5800X3D, 64gb ram, Samsung 990 pro NVME SSD 5120x1440p res |

Today’s patch didn’t help. Still crashing to desktop and one hard crash I had to hit the reset button.
9800x3d stock 4090 latest drivers 64gb ram xmp Win 11 up to date All drivers, bios up to date, AMD chipset drivers up to date. I have no problems playing latest games it’s only in poe2. Last edited by Seba2007#3315 on Dec 9, 2024, 5:38:08 PM

win10 64bit
i5-12600K 3080 only started happening in maps today, (almost?) always when interacting with league mechanics. system locks up, killing poe2 process (which isn't always possible) barely helps until rebooting. last one send me to windows automatic repair after windows wouldn't boot again initially |

I also freeze and crash. Only remedy is Pc case restart. Tried switching to vulkan, still happened. Seems to be a X3D chip issue.
I also heard if I request a refund, I get my account banned and can't even play poe1? Can anyone confirm this? It's been a couple days and still no actual response from the devs so I'm thinking refund, and I'll get the game again in a couple months. Devs not paying QA teams to figure this out knowing majority of PC gamers with high end systems are using 3dv cache chips. Consumers can claim it's oversight when it's not. They do minimal QA and then use consumers to figure out the rest. Ten years ago, people got paid to do this, but consumers are so numb we now pay for the "luxury" of beta testing games. It really has gone full circle. And GGG isn't a tiny company anymore, they are Tencent. The plays perfectly fine on my PC until I have to portal, then it freezes. But still no update from the devs with users reporting this everywhere. Win11 Latest 7600x3d 4070S 32 GB DDR5 ram Samsung 990 pro I just fresh installed windows 11 five days ago and before I do anything every day I check for driver updates; my OCD makes me. Every other game plays fine, it's not a hardware thing. |
