From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2?

No worries there are plenty of people out there who couldn't care less to just speedrun the campaign every new league on a fresh character and speedrun it even faster on additional characters and thick leveling gear in the same league. The few hours are not really a big deal just to enjoy the fresh league content and core game changes :^)

poe 2 IS EVERYTHING POE 1 should have been if only GGG had the money

I already said why, The mod pool is too fragmented and diluted

even if we remove the bottom half of mod tiers in end game. we still have to deal with the fact that:

Many chase mods are gated behind excessively rare encounter. Delve mods , temple mods come to mind

Many items have too large of a mod pool minion items rolling generic caster mods or staves rolling both attack AND spell mods.

Influences largely dependent on crafting currency like awakener orbs / orb of conflicts to actually become powerful.

etc.

Too many systems. Too many exclusive systems.

And there is the fact that the crafting system is both overpowered in the top end and impenetrable in the low end.

either you have measurable chunks of a mirror to brut force rng,
Have a reliable pipeline to sell you failures
Or you basically can do almost nothing with the crafting system past making relatively ok 3 -4 mod rares.

hey guys crazy idea....but...you can play both? OMG i know crazy!!! they are gonna time the leagues so when you gonna be playin poe league after a month and half they will release poe 2 new league most people will be done with poe 1 after 4-6 weeks so they can just go play poe 2 league so why you all choosing on wich one you gonna stay?

Really? How much free time do you have to burn on two soul consuming live services?

Hell its a struggle for me to muster the will to grind every other poe 1 season as is with all the other good stuff being released into the gaming market these days.

I ain't got time for such redundancy and I consider myself as having a pretty generous amount of free time.

Moving to POE2 and going all in, but still playing POE1 on the side. Maybe in between POE2 seasons? Depends how it all plays out timewise.

Most people play a month or two every league. They already said they‘d stagger releases for either game so they can also cycle some dev capacity. It‘s not gonna be difficult to play both games at all

It's way too early to tell. I'm not sure PoE2 will even work on my system, although I'd like to try it.
