From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2?

ABsolutely not true, they will eventually remake POE 1 with POE 2 engine or just place the story in the new engine. They have the tools and money now to do it. People would play POE until they die, if they manage to do it.

Move to poe2 for sure, I just love everything ive seen so far and cannot wait to play it.

I admit that poe1 burnout me some time ago and i just cannot stand to play it anymore so my hype for poe2 is incredible because it seems to go in the exactly direction i wish for. I just prey it will not become poe 1.5 but if they really want to keep the two games along it means they will be different (like it seems for now) so im super excited and hopeful.

POE2 seem more friendly to experimentation and leans more toward multiple skill usage instead of 1 or 2 button spam. That also means slower and more reactive gameplay

That seems like a good reason to try it.

From what we've seen so far PoE2 for sure. Not played the game yet though, so, who knows.

It will be 5x faster to make PoE3 than remake PoE1. Never gonna happen.

I wish i could play both,but there is no chance i have time to do that.

And since i've seen everything in poe 1 i defo move to poe 2.

There's no way they will do this. What will happen is that they will slowly redistribute server and O&M budget from PoE1 to PoE2 in accordance with maintaining the minimum EBIT on their forecasts. This is already underway and the PoE1 team is getting smaller and smaller. The servers will follow soon.

When you hear "they made $X!", that doesn't mean they have that revenue to spend. Anything surplus to their FY25 budget has already gone to the board, dividends (if any) and costs, etc. That money is gone and all they have now is what they were told they have near the end of last year.

Do you think a billion$ Chinese conglomerate would be happy with the return on investment from product they've already invested in superseding?

PoE 2 unless it is a dodge roll simulator.

Waiting to see if I will even be able to play it.....
