From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2?

Of course, but that wasn't the question.

From what we've seen so far, poe2 is putting a lot of focus on the campaign.
Which not many people enjoy, it's a means to get to mapping and character building.
People clear the campaign in just a few hours on league launch, I don't understand why the company is spending countless hours developing a new campaign and showcasing the new campaign.
It makes me feel like the poe2 campaign will take days to complete.
From what I've seen I'm somewhat skeptical towards PoE 2.I'm pretty sure that it can become a great success, its own thing, even a refuge for people who were disappointed by D4 or are simply looking for a great ARPG, but find PoE 1 too complex and convoluted, but I doubt that it can scratch the same itch for me as PoE 1 does.

For now it seems an extremely different game. But for me the ultimate answer will be the endgame and how the endgame will develop.

yeah, of course everyone here will play it... that's not what op is asking

personally I'm not planning to play it long term. I spent a good amount of time in grim dawn and last epoch, but poe is better than them so I don't play those unless there's a huge update or sth. poe 2 will be another game like this, I'll do the campaign, try the endgame a bit and surely return to poe 1
I'll try it but...if it feels more like an Isometric Darksouls instead of a Diablo/clone I'll just stick with POE. I don't want to redo a boss fight over and over. I don't want enemies to respawn every time I die. I don't want to move like molasses. Also, I'm starting to dislike bossing when the bosses are difficult for me. I only fight them because they are in my way and drop items. Otherwise I'd avoid them. Elden Ring has burned me out on fighting a boss over and over.

+1

i see a lot of customization of building your own build.

tho i m a little turned off by weapon skills being weapon locked.

most skills in poe can be used by a wide array of different weapons.

Sticking with PoE1.

PoE2 looks like anti-hype to myself as well as many others.
GGG only caters to their beloved league sheep and whales, majority of whom treat Standard like it doesn't exist. Not everyone enjoys temp leagues.

If you're a price fixer, item flipper, forum brown-noser or an advocate of P2Annoy MTX you're probably already ignored/muted. You won't get my items.
i have no interest in poe2 and the way things are going in poe1 i will probably stop playing at all.
