Completely screwed over assassin (the poison ascendancy) so doesn’t matter what you say.

because poison assassin BV was meta.
this is GGG balance logic: kill it with fire and drop a nuke for good measure, everything else is collateral damage, who gives a shit ? (hint: not GGG)
there was a time when double dipping poison was a thing, then it wasnt alongside with poison for a long time, then the buff came few league later. this have been like this since begning of time.

Well I can't remember the time when Raider was hot sh%t.
Other than some lunatics running Raider for deep rock galactic delving, the ascendance sucked at everything else in comparison to other two ever since I remember.

But I guess the antics of those few lunatics with pickaxes for hands made GGG believe raider needed a nerf every new league.

Shit happens.
Deadeye for me this league.
Ima plant 3 M-Archers with barrage on bosses and run around. It sounds fun at least.

What GGG is doing is nerfing casual players essentially to avoid them doing the very late game content, while preserving elite players the ability to continue printing money.

I think this comment is spot on. In fact, there is a well-known counter often seen in forums, too, aka 'PoE is not socialism, it's about turbo-capitalism!' Another one goes like 'you are such entitled crybabies', which is coming from well-established players who always come on top -the true entitled ones with working capital. It's like rich people telling the poor you are such crybabies for wanting social benefits.

Due to nature of the game the top dogs will be printing the money, because the more you have capital in this game, the more you will be printing money. This means there is little in-between, and the more you must rely on itemization (and I'd argue in PoE you rely a shit-ton on gear) the bigger the gap will be between rich and poor. It's simple return on investment, which most often also ends up breaking the economy really fast.

Sure thing, I'll now go back on being a spoiled little brat wanting a social insurance about my piss-poor characters just so that I can actually enjoy a game and try out its content. But there's no way I'll do it in temp leagues. Luckily they've put a new crafting system in, so I get to trey it out in standard. Maybe it will carry me as a social benefit.

So first you feed us a juicy steak, and then tell us that potatoes are just as tasty and healty.

just lolling.

Considering steak or red meat in general isn't very healthy for the human system i'd say it's a good thing then(although i guess potatoes is a bit harsh).

....This experiment comes with some side effects, however. You'll definitely notice that the patch notes are much, much shorter than they usually are. That's because we're focusing on getting the most important changes done, and doing them well. I'm aiming for us to try to fit the patch notes on just a few pages, if we can manage it. This does mean that we have had to be careful to pick our battles though - the balance changes we are doing have been carefully chosen to have the largest impact and fix real problems. It's also likely that we'll front-load the announcement to have more of the expansion's contents revealed at once, reducing the number of small teasers we post in the weeks following announcement........

Chris wrote this some weeks back, balance changes carefully chosen? nah.

And Patchotes? just write nerfed all across the board

I can understand that Spark aurastacker had to be nerfed, but other builds use those Noteables on clusters too , and its wrong to gut those builds only because u carefully choose not to spend too much time about thinking how u can nerf that ONE particular fuckin strong build.

speed, damage or defence are literally all that matters in poe.

There are ways to get those that are boring (20% more damage) and others that are more interesting (equipping a high damage weapon in combination with Battlemage). Ascendancies are more about the latter. You have the regular passive tree and gear for the former.
I liked the changes, thanks for caring and giving feedback for our feedback! I'm eager to try out the new Ascendancies!
Change is good, nerfing the OP meta builds is something I like to see. Regardless of nerfs or buff to any of the classes it doesnt matter to me. Once the patch notes are out i'll pick a skill, pick a class to fit and make a build so i can enjoy the new juicy league and endgame content that releases on friday.

I like to play the game, instead of obliterating endgame bosses in 0.25 of a second.. i have no interest in that and it sounds boring.

Cant wait for Friday, keep it up GGG!
This changes has one advantage. you dont need labs anmore. nearly everything usefun that came though them is now worthless.

they add tons of overpowered shit into this game over 3 leagues now. After many Player (you may dont know but in standard play some guys to and invest in hes chars)invest so many currency into hes chars they nerfed the complete shit to the ground. Really great job exiles......
