we've been melting bosses in seconds since 0.1, what are you talking about?

Indeed. The only thing I see that has a faster pace is the campaign and that’s probably because people know how to play and what to equip.

It’s always been fast during mapping.

Path of Exile is like magic the gathering. The whole game is making the build on paper before playing it.

Which became irrelevant with PoE 2, cause you need no planning, only damage and a guide to follow.

Also don't play warrior or anything related to it, cause it cannot keep up with any new ascendancy.

I think you mean, don't play maces. Titan can do some cool stuff, just not with maces. And no, shield wall was not cool.

So what can he do?

And don't you think that saying don't play maces is the equivalent for most people and especially new players to not play warrior?

What kind of message is that supposed to be, warrior is fine but don't use the archetype weapons which are bound to all his recommendations?

Please tell me you are doing something on your own and never watched a video or followed any guide to make this even slightly not stupid.

Interesting. Quite the opposite for me.
I never prepare on paper, just a rough though in my mind and then play, adjust based on how it feels, based on what I find and how I enjoy the play.

If I'd plan everything in advance, the actual play would be... boring?
Might give it a try, maybe its not.

Anyway, melting "bosses" is still a problem :)
1) Boss that dies in seconds is not a boss, its a regular mob. I want to actually fight (like 0.1 Geonor)!
2) Player power is too high too fast. Week 1 of each league.
3) I feel over-stimulated, can't see shit on the screen and struggle to find any meaning in blasting maps by 1-button screen clears.

It's just a showcase. We have no idea what's the level gap between the boss and the player in that showcase and there's now a whole "Atlas Class" dedicated to buffing bosses.

People will get mad about this comparison but... this really isn't all that different from the “Do you guys not have phones?” line that Blizz guy did. Different setting/issue... same out of touch energy.

I don't even care about the way the mods will react. This comparison is just insane. [Removed by Support]

Whoa, calm down there, buster! I have no idea what you've said there (good job mods) but you should stop your fanboy attitude before it gets you banned for stupid reasons.

I like Jonathan, and I don't think he is out of touch in general, but that statement specifically definitely was. Nobody is beyond criticism.

I like that [Removed by Support] stuff because it leaves things to the imagination. To be honest, I find this specific case really funny because to tell you the truth I said something really mild. Since apparently it's against the rules to say it, I am not going to repeat it. But it is a commonly-used sentence in which you suggest someone to go outside and interact with the herbs that grow on the ground. As to claim that perhaps you are spending a bit too much time in front of a computer monitor and that this interaction with ground plants might actually help you re-gain a broader perspective in life.

But it's beyond the point. And we all love criticism. I am 100% pro-criticism. But are you really going to tell me that Johnathan saying that people have a tendency to rush to conclusions from watching streamers as to be as out of touch as the infamous "don't you guys have phones?" thing? The epic downfall and PR crisis that predates 2020 and is somehow still being talked about, even in forums for games outside the Diablo franchise? Really? That's how bad Johnathan's comment was? Are you really sure?
