Content Update 0.5.0 — Path of Exile 2: Return of the Ancients
" I’m honestly starting to think you guys have some mental issues or you simply want to ruin your own game. Like, what were you even thinking when you made this decision? |

"Crafting methods that puts a single guaranteed modifier on an item now adds it as a crafted modifier, items can only have a single crafted modifier on an item." This is just plain awful for ssf I can somewhat understand it in trade league but this change is pure negative in my eyes in ssf |

" That's right, feedback is important, but in this case we have an irreconcilable contradiction between two groups of players - the usual softcore mode and SSF The former want an interesting and varied game when interacting with other players, while others artificially limit themselves to a much greater complexity. The game itself, its economy and the chances of drop item, are built to meet the needs and desires of the first group. It is simply impossible to balance the game so that these two groups of players are satisfied with everything. At the same time, remember - the SSF group of players chose their own path, the path of difficulty, pain and less loot. There is no "convenient" solution for SSF players at any stage, because these GGG decisions will always affect the players of softcore, the main game mode. Okay, in a way, I admit and understand why people play this mode, for their own reasons, but what I can't understand is why, knowing and understanding all the difficulties and personally choosing this mode, players of this mode cry too much about various changes in the dropout of items or crafting, indicating that they now "IT WILL BE MORE DIFFICULT [something there]" - guys, the difficulty is why you chose SSF. Accept it and play in silence. This category of players has the right to complain only about the bugs of the game or this particular mode, but not about crafting or dropping items. |

" Well it happens. At the same time we don't know yet what 0.5 crafting meta will look like. Let's just hope it's not added 700 extra steps only to realize that it's a straight downgrade Last edited by default_mp3#9394 on May 25, 2026, 10:31:45 AM

Expedition Currency has been removed from the Currency Exchange,is that for standard or is it for the league to? If so, what have they got planned for the Rog, Tujen, Dannig and Gwennen?

"Balancing crafting? Please, yes. Nerfing and making it more difficult, then it already is? Please, no. |
|
|
modifier note could also mean no duplicates (like how a desecrated mod can roll the same mod that already existed on the item just enhancing it). that was always confusing to me, items looking like they had more than 6 mods but they didnt because 2 of them were additive, one from desecration and one from crafting? i dunno im just guessing at this point

" Idk SSF is the self imposed challenge mode and if it makes sense to nerf essences in trade, it's just how it is in SSF too. It's gonna be harder to get that godly weapon to carry you thru the endgame but I'm personally excited about the challenge and going SSF. Hopefully Pinnacles are actual fights now and they don't just fall over because I essenced a weapon with everything I could have ever wanted lol |
|
" There is no solution that would satisfy both groups, because SSF players deliberately abandon what is the fundamental essence of the game - trade and exchange. It has been since her creation and has become her flesh and blood. All drops of rare and unique items and supplies are based on this. It's just an immutable fact that many SSF players don't seem to understand at all when choosing this game mode. |

" u get real angers over the fact that some people enjoy a challenge you dont. its very weird |
