just chill guys.

You can still get pretty strong weapon with 4 out of 6 mods being deterministic. Crafting was always too strong and we dont know yet whats to come.

Mark was clear they will be balancing stuff from now on to have old uniques polished, skills balanced to a degree and I suspect crafting as well.

They have to try things out before 1.0 so that all is set for the long term success.

So all this crying that they took something from your that was not yours to begin with is kinda funny.

Maybe before commenting about determinative mods you should understand what one is.

You get 1 determinant mod

Augs and transmutes are RNG.

Essence to make a rare is craftable and deterministic.

Desecration is not determinsntic.

Omens are not determinsntic.

Being able to block mods and deterministically get a modifier isn't actually deterministic crafting, it's a technique to force a deterministic outcome.

We are also getting huge ammount of new things that will increase our power tremendously so imho its best to see first and then cry about it then cry about something and end up with what happend to temple....

I wish ppl trust GGG a little bit more...

This is EXACTLY the problem, GGG is not trust worthy... People at this moment seeing the big new patch of endgame as if they forget how many promises GGG made have failed to realise. And to be honest, leech change received a lot more publicity and clarity, being discussed during the live stream and mentioned in the patch notes with great detail. This crafting change is definately more impactful than the leech change. Yet it secretly appeared in the middle of the may 25th patch notes. How can this even be trust worthy?

Excited about the new patch and changes! Hope devs make the game harder over time. Am finding myself missing 0.2 despite how brutal it felt back then. Now it feels like a snoozefest. Maybe with decreasing drop rates of Perf Transmutes and Augs that will change, as getting a GG item was way too easy upon entering maps. Changes in the right direction, though I hope they fine tune balance a bit more harshly so that we have a tougher game again.

+1

Perfect changes to essences GGG! Make this game hard again as it was in 0.2.

And make a separate SSF mode, with different systems that support it.

Thank you for the crafting changes. Essence tech was creating very good items too easy.

I agree. controversial for sure but I think this is a W.

To add/clarify on what you are saying, I expect that crafted mods mean mods that can ONLY be obtained through crafting. The non-perfect essence mods are all base mods that can be found on ground loot. Only perfect essences grant mods that aren't in the base mod pool.

this will be a good change

Finally some difficulty in the game and the market does not die from flooded perfect items within the first week at league start. You all don't need to cry, with your painting by numbers deterministic item crafting, which you couldn't even call crafting.
The only thing missing is that all the greater and perfect currencies disappear and the game finally becomes challenging. We want more rng

i honestly dont think you understand how markets work.

when you make it so .1% of players can buy everything you end up with what we had last league where good items were extremely inflated.

the demand for omens will be so high now that only the top players will be able to afford them and they will buy them all.

supply and demand work hand in hand. if you increase the supply of currency prices are inflated. but if you decrease the supply of items prices are also inflated.

what you are advocating for is a league where .1% of the players own everything and the average player simply cannot even interact with certain items unless they find them on their own.

so omens, mageblood, voices, all the new chase items will be locked behind an extremely rich minority who can afford to omen craft and 1 shot everything while most players are using ground loot.
DELETE MIRROR from the game, to save its economy please. Or make it not tradable or inside mechanics
Good job, GGG!

I trust in the product. Its the best on the market. Both poe1 and poe2
why chaos builds are destroyed every patch? it's not nerfed, even with almost no good builds besides ED, any other build is destroyed every path, curse builds, hexblast builds, int stacking builds, impending doom builds, that's is just sad
