I don't get the totem nerf. It wasn't even competitive against the better builds. It was at least different, and was going to be fun because of that. Sigh.

Too bad Fubgun wasn't making spell totem leveling and endgame guides. For sure wouldn't have been nerfed if he had.
GGG again showing their absolute bias. Nerf the absolutely broken Twister build? Or fix the bugged flask tech that makes CoC Comet blood mage a god? Nah. Lets kill spell totems even tho they would ahve been much weaker than other builds even with no cost.

Simply incredible. Guess its another league of the same builds and stale endgame.

Its crazy that you guys think spell totem is dead even though people were playing it without that node last league.

The rest of the skill is unchanged. The build is still playable.

Sure, some people played them. But they were shit.
Twisters just went from 25% of the player base to 35% with this change lol

To clarify, despite Spell Totem having the Spell tag, summoning the totem itself is not a spell so costs added to spells are not added to summoning a Spell Totem.


Thanks GGG for nerfing totems, god-forbid to nerf bows or twister, noo, let's nerf totems....
At least give us 2 totems to have one for clear and one for single target

Guys, seems like they released a clarification that totems are not spells so they aren't affected by cost increases to spells so supposedly archmage doesn't increase it's cost but I guess it's base mana cost and the cost from having support gems is still there which should be fine.

Which is weird because in 0.4 archmage very much increased the cost of spell totems. People were limiting the gem to level 23 and not scaling it any further so it wouldn't increase costs any further.

There was a minuscule amount of people who did and they all agreed it wasn't good. including players like Pal and Tati.

my understanding is that this clarification it sounds like

The totem is not a spell
therfor the totem is casting the spell

so Rathpith will be based on the totems life?
and archmage means it will be based on the totems mana which is 0?


Either way that means im playing Twister now

Remove this please spell totems have so many downsides already and you let twisters get away with no nerf please ggg dont do this
