Content Update 0.5.0 — Path of Exile 2: Return of the Ancients

I'm sorry but WTF do you mean basic attacks can now have a mana cost?! The basic attack skill on any weapon should not have a cost no matter the supports you put on it!


I'm outraged.

I enjoyed the Chris Wilson video in which he opines that if you appear to be taking direct changes from players, you look like you don't know what you're doing.

Why not just make Ancestral Bond be say 50% mana cost reduced instead of doing no cost or full cost. This seems like too quick of a reaction to overblown streamer hype.

Hey GGG, you missed a spot for the 5th season in a roll, it's called BOWS! Can we have like a proper nerf or do we have to repeat LS and have 50% of the community play Ice Shot/ Snipe for you to do your job.

This balance change has been made without any further thinking, so people done the job for them to point into the issue of the change and now WOW it's actually broken, we can't have this so they revert the change.

Let ppl play what they want to play. It's not a players fault that the 80% of the builds is genuine garbage because how the game works.

Nerfs are good, but the favoritism is not. Nothing is as bas as 2 specs taking 60% of the meta.

If you want to nerf peoples league starters, nerf ALL campaign stompers. Twisters, grenades, snipe. How can these live - oh right streamer favoritism in game balancing.

Leaving few untouched is WORSE than not nerfing at all after patch notes.

I am stunned.

So everyone is playing Snipe/Ice Shot and Twisters at league start because you let the cry baby 'content creators' influence you. Absolute joke. Won't be spending a penny this league and I'm now going to start Snipe/Ice Shot and ONESHOT all bosses.
