Random transfigured build

In my opinion Lacerate of Butchering may feel a bit boring. Seems to be a normal Lacerate, but with rebalanced damage. However, your character is Scion and not Duelist, which sounds interesting.

As for me, I rolled "Ranger" and now in the act 2. Unfortunately, I couldn't resist starting with Venom Gyre. So, i will run it untill the end of act 3 and then swap to whatever i get from Izaro.

Edit: just got Vaal Venom Gyre from vaal area. I have never had this luck before

Finally got my skill gem. That's Fire Trap of Blasting. Two other choises were Elemental Hit of Spectrum and Rain of Arrows of Saturation. I guess the game itself doesn't want me to use bows.

By the way, I put my videos into one playlist. I will uptdate it as soon as I achieve something.

I was initially not that thrilled to roll Lacerate of Butchering, since you're right, it doesn't seem to have much of a mechanical difference to exploit.

Oooh, venom gyre! I played that in crucible and it was awesome!

Organizing the videos in a playlist is a good idea, I'll do that too.

Congrats on the smooth and fast lab run, and good luck and have fun with Fire Trap of Blasting! That will be quite unusual played as ranger, right?

Thanks! Venom gyre is just awesome, but now i have to change it for Fire trap.

I won't doubt my build will be unusual. I'm thinking about using fire to chaos conversion from my daggers and wither to get alot of damage. My next step is to make my character more tanky and get two tammings, as they give me increased elemental damage against enemies with elemental ailments.

As for the future, I'm thinking about getting leadership's price. Chill and Shock are coming from my Skitterbots and Ignite can be replaced with Burning from Righterous fire. This results in 3 minus 1 ailments for tamming. Another idea is a life stacking, but for now i will avoid it for as much as possible.

Not sure if i want to make more "build description" posts maybe this will be the last one before I start making content. Now i'm reviewing my build to find even more defence options. As for the damage, i removed two unique daggers and replaced them with one dagger + shield, which gives me a lot of survivability. Now i'm slowly moving through maps.

I feel a bit uncomfortable buying all of this stuff from trade instead of crafting. I'll start crafting as soon as i find some resources (or currency) for myself. Now my only goal is to progress through atlas and get poins for all the trees i have.

By the way, this is the best graft i've got from the genesis tree:

It gives me an endurance charge every 4 seconds when i'm on Low Life (i'm always on low life because of PB and righteorus fire), which means permanent maximum endurance charges as long as enemies don't steal them. +3% physical reduction is also nice for my character. I guess the only thing left right now is chaos resistance. I'll try to get some when it will be possible.

Updated PoB: https://pobb.in/Tb8yZ-aA8bb5

At this stage, i would say, i need anything: level of my fire trap (which is an insane damage bonus), automated flasks, more life to survive t16 in the future, etc.

Edit: i tried the 4th lab for the first time this league and finished it. None of the notables are good for my build, so I allocated two small passives with flask modifiers. I was avoiding every enemy except Izaro, because fire trap cannot kill them quickly. It was difficult, because enemies can still block you. I'll fix it soon with a quartz flask (that gives phasing).

I just made it to Act 9.
Here's the PoB, the pathing is a mess, but it's workable. There will be a big respec later after uber lab to probably start from the Duelist area. Unless I decide to be spicy and pick a bloodline. Maybe tigers for the lulz? I am more likely to take the vanilla Scion ascendancy path, save all those points, and dump them into cluster jewels.

I had originally planned to level with and do early/mid maps as a physical impale build using either a Reaver Sword or a Despot Axe. The base type is important. Anything below 1.4 attack speed is too slow for Lacerate of Butchering. Links were to be LoB - faster attacks - impale - overexertion - melee phys/brutality.

And then, when I gambled a weapon upgrade at lvl 51ish I think, I got a tri-elemental one, instead.

So, I didn't take those impale points on the tree, instead proceeding a tad earlier towards fortify mastery, the warcry wheels (extra exerted attack!), some rage (gain rage on warcry), some attack speed (and 5% instant leech). Even if the leech is physical and not super effective with this weapon, attack speed is so important.

Links are LoB - faster attacks - trinity - ele damage with attacks - overexertion.

Right now the 6th link would probably be inspiration.

Rallying Cry is my best friend. Herald of Purity - Summon Phantasms - Holy Relic. I basically always have a sweet minion cloud to get the strong buff and big exert. Intimidating Cry and Infernal Cry are on Autoexertion.

Before and after cruel lab was night and day. Scion Slayer node is so good. Culling strike, inc aoe (really helps my LoB sword beams clear better!), overleech, and phys reflect immunity. I'm planning for my other Scion ascendancy points to go to Guardian for the reservation efficiency.

When I was researching, I noticed that last league someone had done Blood Magic, low life, Petrified Blood, together with Bloodthirst support on a physical damage setup. It looked awesome. People were also playing with Rakiata's and an elemental version.

Maybe I could get a Banishing Blade from Heist and have the elemental crit build as my endgame? Let's not get ahead of ourselves yet.

It's time to find a new weapon upgrade now, and get better gear.

The tree hasn't blessed me with anything good yet.

I am having so much fun. The build isn't strong right now, but I'm getting a great course in warcries. I hadn't played them before.

Whoa, that's a really early lowlife petrified blood setup. I think? I usually switch much later. PoB says you have ~970 life. Very spooky! Damage looks really nice!

I love the double taming plan. Had so much fun with that in the past. And the double consuming darks is super stylish.

Now to look at your more recent post.

either way is good. I don't mind updates like this and seeing the early progress too. Although, you're already almost to the end of the challenge already! zoom!

Dang, that's so cool! It's great being able to take advantage of that synergy.

Aha! that's what the pathing to Templar area that started in the previous PoB was for!

Spoiler

Grats on lab! I've never actually played Eldritch Battery before, so this was really neat for me to watch. Running past everything is different, too! Must've been pretty nerve-wracking. You seem to take hardly any damage from traps. Maybe there's some secret pathfinder tech I don't remember?

Round 1 Izaro went really smooth!

omg, that near-death experience to traps at 9:18!

Round 2 Izaro also went fine. You left that poor 6-socket fleshripper on the ground. That's 7 jeweller's orbs that are never making it out of lab. How could you?! =P (I'm kidding)

phew, I am glad none of the monsters hit you while you ran past the gloom shrine!

oh shit, close call on Round 3 Izaro!

offering to the goddess in a box, we infinite!

cool run.

Do you think you'll try out one of the bloodlines since your uber lab points weren't the most exciting?

Made it to maps, huzzah. Ascendancy is Slayer and Guardian. The extra mana reservation allows me to add vitality and arctic armour and keep leveling precision.

Autoexertion - intimidating cry - battlemage's cry - punishment

Manual Warcries: Rallying Cry, Infernal Cry. The combust is helping to keep Trinity up. Stuff is exploding. Life is good.

That's a lot of life regeneration (maybe a granite flask + determination as well). I decided i have to sustain RF for 40% more damage. It deals almost no damage to enemies, but looks cool.

As i remember, i instantly opened two boxes before i stopped and let my skitterbots choose. They both ran to the box below me. As i used one of my keys, offering dropped onto the ground.

Your sword should be awesome for early maps. I'm not sure if you need to use punishment instead of other curse. I guess an elemental weakness might be a good replacement.

Can't wait to see how you defeat bosses in a great fight!
