This is going down as the worst league patch ever. I am glad to know when you fail to make the new season at all enjoyable you will be held accountable by your investors. I hope everyone who thought a across the board nerf feels the weight of their decisions. You had the opportunity to apply slight nerfs while buffing underutilized skills and techs but you've instead opted to massacre the games palatability.


- GGG WAS KIND ENOUGH TO REMOVE 12... YES 12 JEWELS OF The EXISTING 24 JEWELS FROM THE SKILL TREE TRUELY A GENIUS MOVE...

- THEY HAVE ALSO REMOVED QUALITIES EFFECT ON SCEPTERS! CLAIMING IT IS A BUG?

- Nerfed Items that justify grinding! Ruining the only reason to grind!

- FINE REMOVE ONE SHOTS WITH TRAMPLE TOE BUT NERFING ALL THE EXISTING BUILDS INTO OBLIVION IS CRAZY! So i guess build diversity is not your focus, your focus is player retention but is it really? You foolishly make the game harder but also slower so that players stick around longer, guess what, that's going to backfire instead of being rewarded for my time I get half as much done in the same amount of time. ITS enough of a grind! Your decisions are plain lazy and we see through your thought process! You are lazy in the sense that you instead of adding enough content to keep us busy for a league you just make the game even slower HOW ABOUT YOU ADD ENOUGH CONTENT FOR A SEASON. JUST REDICULOUS>

- Nerfing drops is just ____ Either remove it or it is just as bad as getting light radius on an item!

If GGG maintains this nerf pattern where everything becomes as bad as the worst builds there will exist no reason to continue grinding. Who is actually interested in being forced to apply combos to kill, what a rare enemy in maps that stuff should only exist in the context of bossing, its actually ridiculous!

- I want to earn the right to be massively op that's why i am here. I could give a ____ about combos and slow moving through maps! I am here to become a hero with insane power! Temporalis nerf? How many of us do you actually think have access to that? Its literally a MARATHON TO EARN ONE! You deserve broken speed! ITS INSANE TO FARM ONE UP ALREADY! That is actually the one thing that kept me playing so many hours and now you just nerf it to be worthless and also impossible to farm! What are you on about!

- Are you guys even playing the game? Some of these nerfs are for skills that aren't even good at all, I pray you added some broken uniques to justify these GOD AWFUL DECISIONS.

- YOU ARE LAZY - NERFING INGENUITY? - How about make some actual contenders for it. You know to justify the usage of other belts. EVEN AFTER YOUR NERF Its still the best belt!

-This patch not only kills a massive amount of interactions and by kill I mean BRICKS them into being unusable. While you also forget to buff ascendancies that are terrible. SHAME ON YOU!

Why not just buff the underutilized skills to be viable or at least comparable to Metas. Sure nerf the existing ones a bit but not this much, feels like they just stole 90% of my excitement to play this new season!

They keep pushing for these dumb combos, give it a rest they do NOT align with league mechanics. "in a dumb voice: sure yeah ill smack this hammer against an anvil to get 8 slightly stronger hits on mobs. WHEN I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF A BREACH OR EVEN A RITUAL". THIS is by far the worst case scenario. I am sure no one wants this, revert this hailstorm of feces of an update.


🔻 Core Mechanics: Gutted
Halved Pillar of the Caged – Stat stacking, once a creative and powerful niche, is now a ghost of its former self with 50–60% less potential. Why build around it anymore?

Ingenuity Belt – What used to be a build-defining stat amplifier is now split between two rings and caps out at 50%. This one didn’t just get nerfed—it got dismantled.

Dream Fragments – A staple for mana stacking and freeze immunity casters? Cut in half. Down to 10% mana. A foundational piece, now reduced to scrap.

💥 Fan-Favorite Items: Destroyed
Gravebind Gloves – A fun and unique mechanic reworded to break synergy. The “ally kill” interaction is gone, leaving a once-clever tech in the dust.

Choir of the Storm – Not just nerfed—obliterated. Its iconic lightning-trigger mechanic has been reduced to a sad spark.

Temporalis Armour – Cooldown reduction was the reason to use it. Now? It gives -2 to -1 seconds instead of -4 to -2. You can update it with a Divine Orb, but… why would you?

Trenchtimbre Mace – Lost a whole tier of bonus to minion skills. If you used this as a budget minion boost, you’re now just sad.

🧟‍♂️ Old Builds: Left Behind
Atziri’s Disdain – Damage mitigation and Energy Shield scaling heavily nerfed. The stat buffs don’t make up for it. Just another hit to hybrid builds.

Hand of Wisdom and Action – Now scales worse with both INT and DEX. The high-speed punchy INT builds? Not so punchy anymore.

Queen of the Forest – Movement speed now takes 800 evasion per 1%, up from 500. Speed clear builds? Slowed to a crawl.

😵‍💫 Jewel Modifiers and Skills: Weak Sauce
Time-Lost Jewels now grant much less value across the board.

Spark – Fires fewer projectiles and lost its built-in projectile speed. Quality just tries to patch the wound.

Archmage – Once a favorite for mana-based scaling. Now offers significantly less bonus damage and costs more mana. It’s just worse—top to bottom.

🧊 Conclusion: Play One Build and Hope For the Best
This update feels like a direct message: “We don’t want you playing your favorite build anymore.” Instead of lifting underused skills up, everything else got pushed down.

Progression speed? Halved.

Build diversity? Choked out.

Bossing? Scarier than ever.

You’ll probably end up playing one character this season. Maybe two—if you’re lucky. But most importantly, you’ll be spending the entire league just trying to reach the power level we used to get in a week.

LOL what an actual? I wanted to play Detonate Dead. I was ready for a 50% nerf, would be even fine with 70%. But you actually just inhumanly delete it.
Just on gem alone you nerfed it for 70%(Dmg 45% and mana cost and life cost from Witch from needing to lvl it additional 25%).

But like this wasn't enough you actually removed 50% more life from meat shield suppGem lol Removed Skeleton Warriors from the game(BUT WHY??) Yes i used Skeletal Warriors not shitty copy pasta Liliy Brute/Clerics. Because in my opinion it was much much more reliable plus it was slightly more dmg.

So effectively thats not just a nerf for like 90% dmg it is even huge minus by removing even skill gem(skeletal warrior) to use it hahah like what an actual?


The second one i was considering to start was Poison Concoction lol That skill also alone was dumpstered by removing bow + quiver but also that wasn't somehow enough so you had to change chaos into phys dmg which is almost as a nerf as removing quiver+bow hahah

Just wow, 2 things i wanted to start was not just nerfed by 90% dmg its actually removed from the game. I don't understand this, some skills are not even touched and some are like deleted from the game, what is this balance lol Its not balance its changing the "meta" or some shit i guess. Forcing players to play new things not balancing it.
More stronger and less white pollution screen mobs = heathier game experience.

Remind me of "build of the week" back in the day that when you there, you know what will happen.

While some are need to change as not intent (Herald chain) but most are just ..... lower this and make monster harder that.

Some change leave a question for me like Arc...now it's just also clearing skill?

This is why most of the time, I ask dev to properly play their game without spawning gear or set level...
Slow in, slow out cuz I'm just a player.

GGG really hates Temp Chains Aura Bot, and blasphemy in general. To be fair, it was busted on Chronomancer. But that also was thematically a cool way to play the class, imo.
Almost perfect, still need the numbers for the skills. Finally Path of Exile 2 looking like what it was advertised as, and i hoped to be.

But please look into monster movement speed and monster pushing mechanics, monsters are waay to fast and underwhelm the gameplay. There are other glaring combat issues which needs to be fixed.
