How is this a looter ARPG when you NEVER LOOT ANYTHING!?!?!?!?
" Wrong. You've paid for the privilege of gaining early access to an unfinished game (that will be released for free later once finished). Content is still being added. Balance and mechanics are still being adjusted and changed. Your feedback can shape how the final game will end up. But there is a difference between constructive feedback and bitching. |

" And addiction, addiction is the main process that let this kind of people feel like they are not wasting their lifes in a game artificially gated. Like every drug addict. |
|
" what are you doing besides white knighting lmao??? holy. paid for the privilege? what |
|
" If it was made for traders, trading would happen via in-game systems and not a third party site. Try again and pay attention this time. |

There's plenty of good loot out there. You can see it available on the trade site.
The problem is, you have to allocate part of your hard earned money to the People's Party in order to be able to get it. Dont give me any grief. Give me ONE person who has legitimately looted, LOOTED (not traded for) 50 Divines and has managed to hang on to them waiting to do a trade on a Goldilocks item. There aren't any. No one would do it. The only reason prices like this exist is because of big, fat whales and the FOXCONN like factories that mine the divs. THAT is the problem. |

I'm a little curious about this concept of whales in a game where all purchases are non-mechanical in nature. The biggest advantage you can get with money is having more stash space to trade items out of.
The only remaining obvious idea is that people complaining about "whales" having all the power to "get all the loot" have a problem with... other players who achieve a high level, use that high level to get enough drops to farm/trade for decent magic find loot, and then curb-stomp monsters for loot drops... I'm confused. In what ARPG game is it not desirable for the highest level players to fight the highest level monsters and get the strongest gear available? My whole horse in this race isn't even named "the game is perfect." Someone experienced like a half a frame stutter with a jagged ground combo and the support skill has been disabled from working on slam skills since while I main a warrior. There are things to improve. But ranting and raging about "the whales" and the "d3 fiasco" and "how dare you waste my time" isn't any sort of actionable feedback that they can use to make this early access product better before launch, it's just a complaint borne of frustration. The most constructive advice I've seen in this entire thread has to do with implementing some sort of in-game trade system instead of an external API, but I suspect that has more to do with keeping the game code clean and the server from bogging down while processing a million searches/minute- be careful what you wish for. I've found multiple rare items that sold for 5+ divs.
Crafted one worth 30-40 divs. Haven't really made anything too useful for my build though. I had to buy already good items then slam them. It's definitely a problem but one thats not easy to solve. Should be make a system where if you're playing merc crossbows are 10x more likely to drop? |

Grinding currency to BUY your needed items from other players or a vendor is DOGSHIT GAME DESIGN. you have failed as a game developer when this is the outcome.

" I agree on that... telling the players that you have to spend time trading with others on websites outside the game and spending time crafting endlessly until you finally have decent gear is completely out of touch... As it is now the game is complete RNG whether you're gonna have gear or not... I started my first character and by Act 2 I had nothing... still trying to force content with blue gear... got killed over and over and I rerolled... then on my second character I had better gear but my weapon on Act 2 didn't have a +2 or +3 levels for my skills so again I struggled less but I still struggled until I rerolled again... On my third character (an ice sorceress) I finally found an Ice staff with a +3 skill levels and upgraded it to 6 affixes and I'm f***ing breezing through the game... Sorry, but this game has nothing to do with "skill issues" or the game being "hard"... THE ONLY SKILL IN GAME IS LUCK!!! Seriously, the drops are so bad that if you're REALLY unlucky the game forces you to reroll before the end of the campaign for god's sake!!! And not because your build is bad... it's ONLY due to the game giving you no gear to work with... |
|
" man, seriously, you even buy leveling gear... I shit you not... one exalt for every leveling piece and suddenly no more "skill issues" if you know what you're buying... How the f*** is this interactive or meaningful gameplay? I go to goddamn grocery store and pick the groceries I need? That's "gameplay"? That's "skill"? Cause before I started doing that everyone was telling me I had "skill issues"!!! So my lack of skill was not going online and spending my in-game money to buy power without finding it and without earning it in game??? |
