This is the most BS thing I have ever heard in my life when it comes to ARPG and saying the game drops nothing. Total BS.

You just don't know how to play the game or at least you admit you haven't really play ARPG.

Anyone with some experience as for me , POE 1 , D2 LOD , D2R knows the simplest concept.

For D2 LOD and D2R you make the safest and easiest character to play Blizz Sorc, FOH Paladin or a Hork Barb to hork Travical.

I am completely crap in playing games , I took some time, go to Youtube and watch what others are playing and what is the safest Character for start so I can farm some gear for the character to play, I started with a Monk which was great and I got stuck in Normal Act 3 because I get trashed.

So everyone is building an Arsonist Witch which takes minimal amount of gear to get the best results and I made one just to farm.

Lo and Behold , my witch is stil Level 65 but I managed to farm gears for my Monk and Ranger and Both Monk and Ranger are now doing T 15 and T 16 Maps with Ease and I juice my maps.

I traded a grand total of 20 exalts since they drop like flies on a few pair of blueflames to vaal it so I can make a poison arrow cold explosion build and a Radiant hat that automatic ignites.

And every single piece of gear I have on my Monk is blind slam with all the tons of exalts, regals etc etc I found.

Seriously , it's not about getting good or not. Are there problems in POE 2? Absolutely , some of the mechanics are really shitty and needs to be rework and change. But there are a couple of things which is absolutely not the problem.

1. Loot
2. XP loss
3. Lack of Waystones.

I have so much waystones , I have to cube the crap out of it and now I only play T 14 and T 15.

I use my T 12s amd T 13s to do towers or to cube up to 14s and 15s. You really need to learn more about it and do some tiny research. The internet is there for you to learn.

I have 2 Characters Halfway into Act 3 I have found dropped a total of 2 Exalts and 3 Regals combined for both characters.....Would love to find where they are dropping like flies hahahaha I have 80% rarity find. Wanting to Craft my gear but not much currency dropping. 99% of Augmentation and Transmutation slams come up bust for my build. I am new to POE so not sure if I'm doing something wrong , But I agree with OP Loot really sucks at the moment haha but I'm a sucker for punishment so i'll keep looking

So the only way for the leveling to be less tedious and annoying is to have a level 90 character farming exalts and regals for them... ok, noted...


This still remains HORRIBLE design... and again... spending every exalted orb on trading is 1000 times more efficient than you know... actually PLAYING THE GAME!!!

If I use 150 exalted Orbs on decent leveling bases I will get 2 good leveling items... if I use 6 exalted orbs for trading I will get almost full leveling gear... yeah, it's THAT BAD!!!


The game wants you to ONLY trade... SSF is non-existent and not worth anyone's time... but if I wanted to go to the grocery store and buy stuff I'd go to the grocery store, not play a game online!!!


The only REAL way to actually innovate in the ARPG genre is do what Last Epoch did... they boosted both trading and SSF separately with the two factions and the gameplay is very meaningful because you always find stuff that are worth something (Uniques, Sets, powerful gear etc) even though rarely for your character at high level.

However the way Last Epoch's game is set it always gives you that carrot of the next huge drop being "just around the corner" while PoE2 tells you the next huge drop will be 3 months from now... Now go tell me how you use exalted orbs and how meaningful is to spam orbs you farm on your level 90 main instead of actually finding something useful on the ground... ever...

But GGG don't value fun at all... they value only tediousness and making the game a chore for "hardcore gamers" or more likely "stupid gamers that don't value their time or lives"

Get the fastest clear speed possible while having as much MF you can on all piece of gear .
I run around with +200% MF , that's all there is to it .

I am getting so much loot. No idea what OP is talking about.

The loot gets better on higher tier maps. Work your way up juice the maps and you'll spend whole day looting instead of killing monsters.

Oh wait op is talking about the campaign. I mean... not opposed to smoothing out campaign gameplay. Especially for attack based classes that can't upgrade damage through gems.

Daring people to play SSF? That's funny. If you want a SSF challenge, go do it. It'll be more challenging obviously. That's your choice

Its an Arpg. No one said it was a looter Arpg. You don't even know the classification of the game, yet are making forum posts...

Wow thats so smart of you thinking I have to be level 90 to farm tons of exalt , how do you think I got there, I was mass farming the beetle when the bug still exist and you farm the ACT 1 Cruel boss just before the last Doggy boss because he is the easiest and fastest to get to. When you are good enough you farm Jamara.

And you assume I got all my 100s of exalts only when I reach 90.

When you reach a comfortable level even with my crap gear, I was doing Maps and Breaches. A few hours back I did a Savannah Map with 4 breaches.

Holy crap the loot... it was 17 Exalts in one map and I only juiced the map with 4 Mods.

And this is POE Problem, there is problem picking up Key items with so many freaking loot on the floor.

They need to fix it asap. I click on the item and I can't get to it.

+1 the drop is crap and the trade site is more crap, i dont want to go to an external web to do weird trades with real ppl that post items for X currency but then end up telling you, no actualy is XXX currency.. or is on sale but when asked oh no i sold it 36hr ago but the web is not working.. FFS is 2025 add a motherfucking action house, let me put my shit there for a price and let me buy things from there, in fucking game... or you know, make the craft and loot of currency better so i can craft my own shit, i have 35 blue gems of each i can craft good ass blue items, but divnes??? nope i haven seen one in 45 fking lvls...so no yellow items for me unless the vendor want to give me some spensive shit yellow that is not even better than my blue stats/def but have 2.5 life regen.
