How is this a looter ARPG when you NEVER LOOT ANYTHING!?!?!?!?

In my opinion, all GGG needs to do is improve all the loot in SSF and HCSSF. By doing this, all the players who don't like trading and crafting for profit will play in these leagues. And the players who like to stay in the hideout crafting and selling will stay in softcore.

PoE infinitely rewards players who stay in the hideout crafting and selling much more than players who actually want to PLAY the game. All the problems I have with PoE would be solved if SSF dropped more currency and equipment from creatures than in softcore (a simple balancing of the modes). SSF needs to be the opposite of softcore, it needs to reward those who actually want to PLAY the game, and unfortunately that's not what happens.

The loot in campaign and early endgame feels similar to PoE1 to me.

Now I'm curious why our PoE1 experiences are so different. I rarely find anything worthwhile in campaign or white/yellow maps. I assumed that was true for everyone, but it sounds like the majority of folks find lots of valuable loot during the PoE1 campaign and early endgame. What are we doing differently?

(The loot in top-tier maps also feels similar to PoE1 to me, but that's where skill differences muddle any comparison to others' experience.)

In PoE 1 people don't find good loot on the floor, we CRAFT things from the matching level white bases.

PoE 2 has no crafting, no currency and the Tiers weightning are so RNG that even Bases Lvl 72+ will roll +5 stats, less than 10% resistances and very bad affix/suffix.

Isn't skill, is lack of progression tools, artificial difficuly and roadblocks that was solved in PoE 1, but PoE 2 have to walkback on 12 years of experience to be a "different" game.

That's the issue none of the SSF players are complaining about loot.. the vast majority of them are having one hell of a good time and getting endgame pretty fast and easily compared to POE1.

Taking away Item Rarity will be a direct nerf to SSF and making drops higher than they are will make SSF to easy.

They did an amazing job balancing the game for it's EA release.
On my first playthrough I had to farm Candlemass in Ogham Manor because my build couldn't beat the Act 1 boss.

My objective was to get two level 16 items:

Greater Life Flask

Varnished Crossbow

After 10 runs neither item had dropped and I ended up beating the boss due to being over leveled not from a gear acquisition strategy.

This felt really lame and killed the game for me. From then on I just farmed vendors and the trade site to get to the atlas and stopped after 30 maps because loot from a trade window is really boring.

Yes the loot is extremly boring !!!

So you get the GGG Vision Experience.

The game is it - overlevel, play the trade economy and git gud.
The thing is....
Its copy pasta from POE1.

And thats terribly wrong design.
Frost Nova ..............
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?
Loot? So there is loot in this game? I got all my stuff from item generator! https://www.pathofexile2.com/trade
Here you go! Type what you need and you can have it for some ex.
