Did the developers test these new values before pushing the patch? People are asking for free respecs but can a spellcaster actually be viable without cast on X? With current implementation, energy requirements actually just aren't being met to the point where cast on X might as well not exist.

My build just started to wake up but I felt so horribly behind until the Cast on X trigger started to work, and now I'm right back to feeling pretty useless. I don't think I can clear any of the dps checks that currently exists.

I think I'm going to stop playing or maybe just reroll a new character until these nerfs are scaled back a bit. Looking at the nearly unanimous feedback, I think they're probably gonna cave somewhat.
There is a bug in the interaction between Ghostwrithe Tattered Robe and Chaos Inoculation. There is an issue with the settlement order between these two abilities.

The amount of complaining is hilarious, if you want to play a 1button zoom build, there's always poe 1

If you want meaningless loot, play loot Pinata with D4 bosses

If you actually want to play this game, maybe stop following build guides and actually play the game yourself.
I ended up with my own version of COC comet build and it took me like 5 minutes to adapt it to make it work just fine with the changes..


Grow up lil bro. This wasn't a "following build guide haha" moment, TONS of builds used trigger gems; including mine (which I made on my own) and a blanket nerf like this ruined quite literally everything for everyone. It took an aspect of the game, and a core component of builds and made the entire system worthless. I genuinely cannot find a single use for any trigger gem now.
For the record i wasnt event playing CoC (yet).

These changes seem just completely off (i saw my friend trying to trigger CoC).
Did you test trigger skills at all? How did you intend them to work?
Why not have it like in poe where you need to crit with attacks to trigger CoC?
Why not change it so the trigger gems have a damage multiplier of less than 100?
What about the Invoker ascendancy notes that interact with trigger gems, which are now useless?
What is spirit supposed to be used for now because besides minions there doesnt seem to be much use to it?

Also for such heavy changes you should really award people a free respec option.

Love the game hate this choice. I have not been impacted personally on my character but friends I convinced to play have been. Just a bad bad bad choice and respect are way out of line as well. I mean make it hard for people to want to play your GAME that’s supposed to be FUN and screw us all over gg ggg fail hard and made me look bad thanks.

reskilled last night to have at least a somewhat reliable build. Woke up this morning any my character is trashed, cant respec due to no gold. Good job, you messed it up completely for me. I have uninstalled the game for now. I can understand that you might want to balance your game but this is not balancing, this is killing it.
Great job (no). Have you tried using CoC now yourself? How do you reset the passive skill tree if a skill doesn't work?

They want to make it like D4 it's obvious.

Not to mention other annoying bad practices they copied like: item salvaging, every boss fight dependent on evade (roll) mechanic, some trials feels like D4 map events, maps feels boring like nightmare dungeons, "advanced" items in second difficulty.
Now they want to make us constantly spam 5 buttons on keyboard because that what makes a game good.
What's next? Mounts mtx? Maybe some other endgame areas with no density and loot because this game is so 'hardcore'?
