nah its pretty easy to see percentage of player base isn't happy. And while there are a lot of people playing, that doesn't really mean much. Lot of games have large player numbers a launch still end up less than postiive reviews.
How are you quantifying feedback so that it "easy to see" ?
Everyone in my circle is loving POE2.

That's exactly why I felt inclined to make this post...
My circle is worried GGG will not see ANY POSITIVE feedback because we're heckin playing the game, and krangle our game (AGAIN...)

The whiners are usually the loudest, the game still have concurrent 200k players playing right now (on steam charts I imagine their standalone client must have similar numbers), if it was as bad and tedious as everyone here makes it to be then nobody would play it more than a few hours, pure basic logic.
Yes, but PoE1 fell down a very slippery slope of kneejerking to player feedback. Lots of players playing the game aren't in here giving feedback.
I hope GGG bases more of their decision on in-game driven data coupled with the feedback to classify biggest player issues vs. just "I dont want this game to be PoE2."

Aye, but steam reviews have to be taken with a grain of salt given how many people play PoE1. There is an unhealthy expectation for PoE2 to just be PoE1 with better graphics -- which would be an absolute shame of the handcrafted awesome combat experience you can have on poe2 ONLY BECAUSE its not poe1's devolved speedy mess.

i agree, but even with those bad reviews the game got very positive reviews. so i think they are aware that majority enjoys the game, especially if you account for negative bias etc. what i'm personally worried about is that they are aggressively correcting the game based on player 'suggestions'.

We also have PoE1 for power fantasy casual ARPG. It's not like they ended PoE1. It's right there.

Handcrafted combat experience? The maps are rng created, the mobs are rng decided in positions, types and modifiers. The bosses are about the only thing handcrafted, but they aren't any more special than most other bosses in other games.

Well said. Thanks for the endorsement btw.
They need to couple their feedback with data driven decisions. Find that nice 90% middle ground, find your new audience. People who hate PoE1 like PoE2, you could see a lot of that feedback at first and they're not giving feedback because they're still playing the game.
