Then remember that some problems are non issues.

When Diablo 2 came out before hell mode was solved, if the developers listened to what people would have said we would not have a game still having lobbies immediately fill up weeks into ladder reset 20 years later. It seemed impossible, it seemed like the developers released a troll game mode that was never meant to be beat. It was solved.

You said 100 on ruthless PoE1 would not be reached, we reached it last league.

When PoE came out, you guys had the right idea. Starting perandus/prophecy, league after league after league you kept giving too much power and speed creep by addressing the problem of "we feel weak" in the wrong way.

Stand true to your vision, there is a happy middle ground here (such as tutorials on how to get resistances, and tweaks to positioning/nodes on the tree)

This game may seem hard, but it absolutely gives you the tools you need to succeed. People want to skip the campaign, the campaign is bloody brilliant, the ascendancy trials are brilliant, nothing but glowing feedback across my guild (who is nothing but D2 and PoE vets having zero issues with the game that are non-technical like crashes, all level 60+ or in maps/waystones).

We are all long time supporters and believe you have a chance to make a game that targets us hardcore ARPG players without needing to make a Ruthless GSF like you did for PoE1.

PoE1 has the extreme zoom power fantasy skip-the-campaign style game. Nerfing Malachai on release made me really upset, I don't even wear my Awakening shirt anymore.

The new ascendancies are very well done, only small rebalances needed. Again, player power being earned is extremely gratifying.

Keep the combat engaging and challenging, and add small rebalances to skills/trees.

One of the things my guild is most worried about is the extreme fun we had reaching the limited endgame will be lost after waves of buffs and power creep like PoE1. Campaign is a rite of passage, and it's earned not given. It was this way in D2, it used to be this way in PoE1, and it is the way to keep us ARPG players engaged PoE2. Frankly, if the game released in its current state, we would still play it over anything else.

You made a fantastic campaign and game, stay true to the vision. There are many players who aren't making forum posts and instead actually playing the game.

PoE2 is amazing. Many of our guild mates who are far in the game are loving it. This is a good middle ground between what Ruthless wanted to be and a true ARPG. Please don't gut and kill PoE2 to cater to the base you are ALREADY pleasing with PoE1, that you alienated for 5-6 years of powercreep.

this game is worse than poe 1 in ever way.. it has better graphics and boss fights sure.. but it has worse gem system most skills are terrible or just dont work.. YOU get zero loot even in endgame maps.. you get 2 rares a map with transmutes augs and maybe so other bubblegum currency.. not a single person even had UBER LAB YET so GL casuals theres nothing fun about poe 2

It's the same as the D4 release. Reddit was spammed with people going "Hurr durr you only see complainers cuz us real* diablo fans are too busy enjoying the game!" Only for the game to become a barren wasteland three weeks in as people realized it had no endgame, and loot was completely broken.

Unless you're literally an investor in GGG, this strikes me as a very weird position to take.

*As in, people who played the campaign and haven't touched the game since.

Even if you like the direction this game takes, contrary to what poe took for the past half decade, do you think that the EA is completely and perfectly balanced and they would never deploy a patch unless it's to address "Professional complainers"?

WHY is it when whenever there's a complaint about anything it's suddenly a "skill issue"?

I don't find this game hard at all, especially not the bosses. I just find that some mechanics really are just unfun and annoying.

Like being able to avoid getting body blocked in tight ass corridors is NOT a skill that's fun to apply.

Level 100 was achieved in Ruthless..... I want to point out that my carry and I grinded maps for about 2 months of 10+ hours of mapping a day and the whole last month was just getting lvl 99 to lvl 100.it was a nightmare and I don't recommend anyone doing it ever hahaha. It was very grindy.
I have complained about the game here before and can confirm when Im enjoying the game I dont post here because im too busy playing

I'm coming onto POE2 blind as I've never really played POE1 (not passing the tutorial) and not playing Diablo. Only dabled in it a little bit but the gameplay style wasn't for me. I only got POE2 because of the introduction of WASD as movement and it's been a blast for me.

But overall, it's been such an enoyable experience, I think what they have as a base is great. I avoided POE1 and Diablo because of how chaotic it looked from endgame gameplay. I'm coming to realise this is termed "Zoom meta"?

I'm having a bit of a disconnect from those who say they don't have time and feel like the game "isn't respecting the players time". I've not felt that way at all coming in as a new player?

If I'm served a delicious meal, I'd want to take my time savoring it and enjoying it. Not gulp it down in one go. How would you even taste the food that way?...

That feeling of getting a unique felt amazing when it happened the first time for me as I was playing at the end of Act 2. I'm not sure why people want that to happen all the time? Wouldn't that just make the unique's no different to the magic and common drops?

I just hope how I feel isn't the minority that's all, because I personally really like the game and can imagine it will only get better from here. I really don't want it to turn into another "Diablo" or "POE1". They're continuing support for POE1 already...I'd be so upset if they just turned this into POE1 instead of defining this as POE2...
