potential fix, worked for me (at least for now).
can't be sure if it's just a coincidence and GGG's servers stopped lagging, but after doing this, as per below quote: "in folder where lootfilter - 1 ) open config and change netword from Auto to Lockstep or Predictive", the game works again with stable ping. I changed to lockstep in the cfg file.
"
what i can recommend for people to try -
in folder where lootfilter - 1 ) open config and change netword from Auto to Lockstep or Predictive 2) change shaders cache size in nvidia panel from X to 100. 3) activate ipv6 in ur router (some old routers may not have this, whish is sad). Some of those steps sometimes help people.
Ultimately you can just use VNP or Mobile phone as hotspot (via usb cable, just dont forget disable ur main internet cable), but this is so annoying....

Having the same: latency spikes but only in POE2 - everything else running smoothly, monitoring latency for other connections shows no irregularities. GGG: please fix this, we paid money to play the game….

Horrible lag spikes. Right in middle of running trial of Sekhemas. Each boss fight did it. Screen goes to black, with ashes. Tried pausing, and on the third boss, the boss kept going, while I couldn't. Dropped me down to 100 honour, and then it was over not long after that. The lag spikes have been horrendous.

I have to delete shadercache every single time I want to play the game, otherwise I get constant stutters.
Once deleted that one single session of PoE2 is absolutely smooth.
After closing the game and starting another session later, it's back to microstuttering..
What's going on?

i just did this and everything is working now. so there has to be some interaction between peoples lootfilters and the servers causing the network issues.
Lets see how long it lasts.
thanks man :)

Didn’t fix it for me. Also I don’t even have a loot filter - this is a general networking setting and is not related to loot filters…
What I am wondering is: if this is a general server issue, then everyone should experience the stutters?
I believe at this point I have tried everything under the sun and just have to play another game.
