Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

"
Started my final ascendancy, was going super well and randomly 3rd floor is a bad instance so its over.

It’s absolutely mindboggling to me how GGG is just ignoring this topic from a leadership perspective. I mean what’s the point of this forum then even?
I've been experiencing issues like this since day 1 of the 3.0 release.

People are confusing this issue separate with network lag issues (green bar indicator) when the actual issue is the CPU latency (red bar indicator).

Here is a video I made indicating the issue:

I also have a separate forum post about this here:

I submitted a ticket to support about this issue and received the following response:

"Thank you for the message and I am sorry to hear about this issue. Unfortunately we are not currently offering email Technical Support, due to limited staff resources. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."

I was able to fix that with the Milan server, well, at least the lag is not so annoying anymore.
I don't know if it's been stated, but ever since I 'updated' my drivers with NVIDIA it's like the game stutters every time it comes close to the having to load shaders. Every time I drop it's because of shader loading. Is this game optimized for it?

The people posting here have tried all possible servers and all graphics options and can confirm that the issue is the latency bar spiking up to 500-3000ms regularly. Not the FPS, not the CPU. Triple checking our own network connection resulted in no issues at all, so this is a POE2 game client / server issue.

I have sent them another email to make them aware that they are ignoring this since December 2024. If all of us send them an email with the link to this thread maybe they will listen at some point…

Completely different issue dude, appreciate trying to help but i watched your video and its not the same issue at all. You dont need to trigger this to happen or do anything, its not a spike in cpu or fps purely network.

This happens standing still in a corner of your hideout with 200fps and no cpu load.

Exactly.
The problem is the instance that hosts your map.

I'm not their devOps and don't know how they've structured their servers. This being said, you can have a stable 12ms in a map, and then enter an abyss rift where your network spikes up to 10k+ and it becomes unplayable.

In the campaign this can be fixed by resetting the instance through the warp system. You can't do that on endgame maps. If you end up in a broken instance, your key is basically gone unless you're able to finish despite the lag.

Why this topic hasn't been officially recognized is beyond me

For me the problem persists in all instances during all times of day on all servers with any graphics setting combination you could imagine (with some variation, but the spikes are always there)
Timothy responded to this thread like half a year ago, do we have any updates since then GGG?
