Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

thought I would check in and seems game is still scuffed, lag spikes every 20-30 seconds on London still.

Me too here. Huge lag spikes today. It actually got worst after the recent patch. Checking the performance graph in game, I can see the issue is the huge network spikes when slowing down from 30ms / 60ms to 1000ms and above.

Was it solved? i didnt played poe 2 since lunch

same problem here, lag after death/instance change

only way to go around it is to die/respawn at checkpoint.

this bug testing the limits of my patience tbh

Adding my name to the list. Aus servers. It's like there is a corrupt server shard or something. Town portal and back puts me in a different instance or something and fixes it and runs super smooth until I die or load into a new area where about every 4th or 5th time hits the super lag again.

came looking for a fix but seems like it's not so simple to stop the random FPS drop.

for me it's not just mob related. sometimes I'll be blasting through big mobs while staying over 60 fps. My frames will drop from around 120 to low 30s from walking around some areas with no mobs or NPC or anything else than me. will even happen in towns. I know act2 town is just a lag fest for me compared to the other towns. a little better when it stops traveling, but still droping down to 50-40 fps, then getting out in an area and jumping back up to the low 100s.

Maybe it's like some places the game is trying to render a bunch of 3d background or something?

Adding my name to the list. Bought the game a couple of days ago on PS5 and it's pretty much unplayable. I'm getting constant massive lag spikes that keep pausing the game. I've done speed tests and everything is good and I've tried everything with my connection settings both in game and with my router, including going wired, even though I don't have any problems in any other game. I was really enjoying the game too 😔

I'm also experiencing the same but in my case I get ping spikes that go up to hundreds of ms then back down to the usual 17 to 21 ms I get most of the time.
Weirdly enough resurrecting at checkpoint helps with the issue almost like the zone I was in changed servers to a more stable one. I'm in Brazilian servers but this happens on any other server I tried.

Adding myself to the list, i want to play this game so bad but its testing my patience. i have a very decent pc and run 120fps on a ultrawide the 1% lows easily drop to 30fps when it stutters, it stutters about 30 times in a minute. i have tried so many different settings please help

Same issue, didn't start until after tonight's update. Game is unplayable.
