In the waiting line for this to be fixed. I have been scared to change zones all weekend. And this hard resetting cant be good. I have tried nearly everything.

" Damn. Sory to hear that but it's nice to at least rule that out as the problem (or at least the only problem). Appreciate you. |

Hey, do you AMD guys get anything in your Clientlog.txt in the "/Path of Exile 2/logs/" folder? I'm wondering if the Intel crash to desktop is the same root cause as the hard freeze that the AMDs are doing. It looks like some of you AMD folks are replacing the hard crash in exchange for a soft crash by freeing up cores ...

I went from almost no playability (and constant crashing) to a stable experience for over an hour after today's Windows update and a full restart. That includes tabbing in and out. CPU/GPU temps stay around 50C (that's with pretty standard fans for cooling). The in-game FPS is capped at 72. I've played a map and used the portal quite a few times to test.
Two CPUs are disabled in Process Lasso and Maximum Processor State is at 99%. That's great and all, but I don't have an explanation for this. I'm posting here to see if anyone else had a similar positive experience. Correlation does not imply causation so the Windows update may have absolutely nothing to do with this. " The devs don’t even ask us to send crash reports and our pc config files. I am no expert but have participated in many alphas and beta tests. The devs should implement automated crash reports that automatically sends data to devs. When you crash a pop up screen shows up and asks you what happened and if you want to send the crash report and your pc config. |

Any sort of transparency would be greatly appreciated here. Just a dedicated thread "Hey guys. We are working on identifying this bug and here's a timeline for the fix." Or "Here's what you can do in the mean time instead of risking your hardware." We have to hold GGG accountable. Seeing the issue in the "Known Issues" thread is not enough for me. Instead it's been full radio silence since launch and I have to sit back and watch all my friends talk about how much they enjoy the game. Sit in discords and group chats of my friends discussing their ascendancy choices. Scroll my YT feed and Talkative Tri looks like he hasn't eaten in a week. Or risk my hardware and spend what little free time I have away from work and my family to mess around trouble shooting all sorts of nonsense that doesn't work. This game has been unplayable for me since launch day. We are pushing 1 week. I cannot play the game anymore. It’s a hard crash that requires a reset pretty much at all loading screens. I'm at the point where I'm done risking my hardware since this is the only game to ever behave in this manner. Vulkan doesn't work. Limiting my cores doesn't work. Lowering settings doesn't work. Rolling back GPU and windows drivers doesn't work. NOTHING WORKS AND IVE HAD ENOUGH AND I KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE! 9800X3D 4080 SUPER AsROCK x870E Phantom Nova Corsair Dominator Titanium CL30 6000MHz NZXT Kraken Elite 360mm AIO Samsung 990 Pro SSD 2TB Montech King 95 Pro Seasonic Vertex 1200W PSU My rig is more than powerful enough to handle any game at ultra settings on my brand new OLED monitor in beautiful 1440p. I have a dozen or more crashes in roughly 9 hours of gameplay. The saddest part is is that this game is so incredible that I don't even want a refund. If it was any other game I'd demand my money back from Steam. There's so much potential here. Rant over. |
