It started for me at the initial cutscene when entering act 3. Then every couple of hours when loading a new zone.
It's gradually gotten worse and happening more and more often. Now it's gotten so bad I cant even get to the character login screen as the whole system hangs with 100% cpu usage on alle cores and theres no other option than power cycling. Starting to worry about cpu damage as the problem has escalated this badly. |

Still experiencing the problem. Still only ever happens when loading into a town, but not every time I load into a town. My best guess is that the actual bug is isolated to some cosmetic or cosmetics, and it's triggering when a person with one of those cosmetics is in town. If you have cosmetics equipped and are experiencing the bug, especially if you're getting it very often, please try unequipping them to see if that helps. I would be very curious to see the results.

I'll probably crash right after I post this, but after today's Windows patch (KB5048667) the game actually runs without immediately blowing up. I do have two CPUs disabled in Process Lasso and Maximum Processor State at 99% in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings.

Be careful guys, some guy in the other thread has reported that his CPU has burnt out and bricked due to this issue.
