From what we've seen so far, do you feel you're going to stay with PoE1 or move to PoE2?

PoE 2 will see a lot of improvements. PoE 1 started off very rough too. But if ruthless is the direction they are hoping to take PoE 2 and keep it there...PoE 1 all the way.

Unfortunately even after finishing cruel, it's just not fun. Too slow and tedious. I'm already back to POE 1 :(

WIll most likely stick to PoE2, I'll most likely try PoE1 league every 3-4 month but maybe not clear them.

Had my fair share of 1button click build. While it was fun the first 500h hours (which is a fair bit tbh xD), Most PoE1 skill are the same. All melee build are right click next because. Interaction only occur on a numerical level.

While PoE2 is slower, I feel I have more control over what's happening, more strategy.

POE 1 is for those who like:

-> loot simulator
-> advanced crafting
-> economy
-> mouse click based controls
-> plowing through enemies.


POE 2 is for those who like:

-> challenge
-> roguelike games
-> souls like bosses
-> crafting their own gear
-> xbox controller

Since I like loot, economy and mouse click controls, I prefer POE 1. I do like a challenge but the poe 2 mouse click controls interfere here. And my dexterity is not good enough anymore to deal with these clunky controls and face souls-like bosses. And no I don't play with a controller because I have a huge stance against console games which in my opinion have ruined pc gaming.

Also you can play POE 1 with multiple attack skills as well. People referring to 1-button mashing only do it because of streamer FOMO.

I can't play either. POE2 is total dogshit and I love POE1 but they made it impossible to run on my computer. It ran like a dream as recently as Crucible League and then overnight it was unplayable. The devs have told me to go fuck myself. I would love to play POE1, hell I would love to enjoy POE2 but I don't think I am the target audience for this game anymore.

i fucking hate the trials of ascendancies, i dont like the idea of 1 try bosses for mapping. i find the drop rates pretty bad. but i m still having a lot of fun in poe2. i cant go back to poe1.

really hope things get reworked/toned down tho.

It needs major work. if not, neither. i'll be moving back to my other aarpg's (grim dawn, d2r, d4 and last epoch most notably) , don't like poe1 , like poe 2 a lot better but needs work.

Btw, no need to feel attacked because I like d4 , to each their own. feel free not to reply. being offended by my opinion is a choice you make for yourself, has nothing to do with me.

After breaking through into PoE2 Act 3, I'm already underwhelmed. I doubt I'll even play through a second time after they finish the campaign...

The game has doesn't have any fundamental flaws that are irreconcilable or unable to be fixed by simply rolling in PoE1 systems; but the current play doesn't mesh with my love for PoE1. I just wanted PoE1 with a glow up. Is that so wrong?

Ruthless 2.0 is not what I wanted, or expected. It's not fun at all, it's just a slog to play, and utter tedium. Life is way too short to play bad games.
