So is discussing/talking about RMT allowed? (Talking != doing it)
The only question here worth asking, is why you need to have a discussion about this?
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

you can't sell mtx via Steam.....
This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. About the username: Did you know Kowloon Gundam is made in Neo Hong Kong?

" "a bunch" means "a total of 11 different mtx". The MTX tradable on Steam aren't solely a GGG product. They were obtained by users through a collaboration between GGG and Valve, as participation rewards in Steam community events: the 2013 Steam Holiday Sale and Steam Summer Adventure 2014. I don't think you can look at two businesses doing a collaboration and think that means anything goes?
bet a mirror that comments in this thread will be gone due to moderation .....

" They seem to not care about General Discussion section for past few days. Seen a lot of comments that previously would be instantly deleted ^ ^
" There is at least one comment in this thread that was deleted by moderation, so they're still watching. Way I see it this is harmless fun as the premise of the thread is already silly The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

Better question is why do i get ads for RMT websites on youtube when i watch POE videos , GGG sue youtube? youtube getting paid by rmt sites when its against their tos? its not legal?
i feel like the only ones getting boned here are the players .
" First off: RMT isn't illegal, but it is against the ToS of PoE. Second, advertisement on Youtube is open for everyone, and is heavily automated. As long as a company/person pays for advertisement space and isn't breaking any laws by doing so, it's a free market. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" What else they will advetise about PoE.
" not really, it's just a matter of volume and Google's inability to play instant whack a mole. This happens on OSRS and WoW videos. If you report these ads they will get taken down, since putting your service up for advertising on Adsense is rather automated and it's not difficult to convince the system you're valid. So Google will ban them, but then 500 take their place. I'm sure Google appreciates the cash also |
