No performance fixes?
Local IT professionals give a tip:
1. Upgrade your hardware. If you have outdated 4060, buy new 4090. 2. Upgrade your old 13700K to 14700KSF 3. Update your windows from Windows 11 to Windows 12 4. Reinstall all drivers, including the driver for the mouse pad, and the driver for your hands. 5. If it didn't help, repeat all steps. |

As a developer (not POE), I can say that I am sure it is a tough problem to fix due to the fact that it is very sporadic on who has problems. For the most part, the majority of players likely have few issues and those that due likely fall into the minor class.
Unfortunately, you do have people having legit issues, but finding that core issue has proven to be difficult. For example, the main two systems I play on are a Desktop with a 12th Gen core I9. 64gb ram, and a 3080 GTX and a lower end Legion laptop with a Ryzen 5 6600H, 16, GB ram, and just a 3050 Ti. I can play on both without much of a problem. Obviously it is smoother on the desktop, but even the laptop doesn't have any real issue. Now one of my good friends has pretty much the same desktop. Literally, the only difference is that he has 128GB of ram. He had several of the aforementioned issues for the first part of the past league. It finally got corrected somewhere around 2 months in. He still has occasional glitches. One thing he did find out was his AV was causing some problems. He uninstalled, and that actually made his play much smoother. He used Vipre, fwiw. We both run Windows 11 Pro and pretty minimal on running apps. In his case the AV was causing some issues. He contacted them and sent in information, but they never replied. He hasn't tried it again and just moved to a new AV and has not had the issue again. The point is, there are so many things on computers that can cause issues. This does not resolve the developer side of the issues. We all know POE is not efficient, and there are ways that would likely even out the gameplay across different systems. A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

" My solution is easier. Avoid AMD for gaming. "I've played a lot of videogames. It's my primary recreational activity. Best games ever: Elden Ring and Diablo 4."

" What is AV |

" historically, most people who had major issues with updates were people with amd gfx cards. i dont consider this the actual commonality among those with issues however. i have an amd card myself, and until the update last league that fucked me i had never had the issues caused by their tweaks. and i have heard from many people still suffering issues from that last update have nvidea cards. |

" Maybe you're right about gaming in general, but in PoE it is Intel which is affected by multi-threading bug. My Intel-based PC performs flawlessly in all games except PoE. So I definitely don't recommend to buy Intel for PoE, or at least check if the combination of processor and motherboard you're going to buy works normally. You can do this on tech support forum, where people post their configs and problems they have with them. Last edited by Beglets#2772 on Dec 6, 2023, 3:54:26 AM

Hello
I have also disabled that intel hyper threading in bios and I think it helped. Also with dvi adapter connected to graphics card slot and VGA connected to monitor solved the the full screen issue on native 1920-1080 resolution. So a dvi-vga cable adapter needed for this. Interestingly my monitor produces more beautiful color with VGA then with hdmi or dvi. For latency/ms/internet lag issues check WinMRT - I have about 30% packet loss on my ethernet connected internet. Interestingly I have 0% - 1% packet loss on my broadband mobile internet with other ISP. SO my broadband internet with mobile wifi is working better then my ethernet :) It has to be the fault of the router of my ISP provider or something with my ISP . But my game is working right now I do not care. WARNING: Do everything at your own risk, I do not suggest anyone messing with their pc without proper knowledge or without technical assistance.
