No performance fixes?

Interestingly my monitor produces more beautiful color with VGA then with hdmi or dvi.

You hear something new every day.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
It's Path of Exile's ''Engine Multithreading'' option that has issues.

When disabling it, there are no more stutters and framespikes, but fps are much lower overall.

I also don't have any issues in any other games. The Multithreading bug was already was already causing problems before the August PoE2 Particle effect update, but ever since it's just atrocious overall.
Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks simply isn't fun. Rework stacked decks needed.

Exactly.

I just pray they, GGG, won't spoil it even further. So far I can play with that "CPU C-States disabled" bugfix, I hope it will work in Affliction league too.

Fingers crossed.

Been playing since 2016 and the performance has never been better for me. I had my reservations in the past but I am very much looking forward to a smooth PoE2 experience next summer.

I seriously fear they infect PoE2 with chunks of code from PoE which contain multi-threading bug.

Multithreading bug started 2 years ago as a minor inconvenience but grew and spread with time until 3 months ago it made gaming practically impossible for affected hardware.

As a developer (not POE), I can say that I am sure it is a tough problem to fix due to the fact that it is very sporadic on who has problems. For the most part, the majority of players likely have few issues and those that due likely fall into the minor class.

Unfortunately, you do have people having legit issues, but finding that core issue has proven to be difficult.

For example, the main two systems I play on are a Desktop with a 12th Gen core I9. 64gb ram, and a 3080 GTX and a lower end Legion laptop with a Ryzen 5 6600H, 16, GB ram, and just a 3050 Ti.

I can play on both without much of a problem. Obviously it is smoother on the desktop, but even the laptop doesn't have any real issue.

Now one of my good friends has pretty much the same desktop. Literally, the only difference is that he has 128GB of ram. He had several of the aforementioned issues for the first part of the past league. It finally got corrected somewhere around 2 months in. He still has occasional glitches. One thing he did find out was his AV was causing some problems. He uninstalled, and that actually made his play much smoother. He used Vipre, fwiw.

We both run Windows 11 Pro and pretty minimal on running apps. In his case the AV was causing some issues. He contacted them and sent in information, but they never replied. He hasn't tried it again and just moved to a new AV and has not had the issue again. The point is, there are so many things on computers that can cause issues. This does not resolve the developer side of the issues. We all know POE is not efficient, and there are ways that would likely even out the gameplay across different systems.

What is AV

Anti-Virus
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
I had 15fps after fresh install of the game now I have stable 75
all I had to do was to play around with production_config

75 because my freesync ultrawide works in range from 60 to 75fps

You can ofcourse get way more if you have higher refreshrate monitor.

It used to be easier, because we had 50% resolution upscaled to 100% as pernament option, it was removed for some bad reason and replaced with dynamic culling that causes stomach sickness by switching from 100% to 50% resolution randomly.
I guess it depends what hardware you got. Since you didn't said what hardware you have ( GB and GHZ is completly irrelevant if your hardware is bad ) you can't be helped.

I guess my pc is pretty "okeisch" Its about 1300USD on pcpartpicker with everything but the Case included. Even RX6800XT because I couldnt find a RX6800 there. But used parts would be even cheaper!
If you allready have a MOBO AM4 and ram it gets cheaper etc..

This is AMD 5800X3D with AMD RX6800 on 32 Ram 3200MHZ with Samsung 990Pro on 3 Monitors:

Monitor on the left is running a Video on 1920X1200 Fullscreen
Monitor in the middle is running POE on 1440p with max settings
And on the right screen that is 1920x1080 I got chrome Forum page open.

Game settings are: Windowe Fullscreen
DX12
Vsync and Triple-Buffering off and disabled
Depth of Field is off
Dyn Cul and Res are off
Engine Multi is on, the graphic settings are all on max settings

The FPS/MS greatly benefit from not playing video or have chrome open but thats how I play normally.

Here is a screen with all the settings above up and running from my old autobomber 2 or 3 seasons ago that I guess, is one of the most demanding way you can play ( Atleast I got the least framerates on that build.
