can Searing Bond be supported by Blind and Power Charge on Crit?

I.E. can Searing bond trigger Blind and Power Charge on Crit?

no, dots do not triggers on hit effects.
Additionally, dots can not crit.

Some questions from my side:

1. Do passive + Totem Damage nodes make Searing Bond do more damage?
2. If not is it going to get changed?

If both no... i dont get it... why not weakening it a bit and making the nodes affect the totem... this would be way more clear then it is now.

Ok i tested it by spending a refund point.

+% Totem Damage passive node increasind the Searing Bonds damage... im happy now :>
Searing Bond is without a doubt in need of a second look. Never in my PoE experience have I had such an easy time advancing through content. The act bosses are laughable, even cruel Dominus on self-found gear was a cakewalk.

The amount of damage it deals with just one support gem is ridiculous. Add the fact that you can completely ignore %spell damage and %cast speed (totem nodes give plenty of summon speed) and you have a recipe for easy-mode. This is especially apparent after I lost couple of Molten Strike chars on Normal in Invasion league just before that.

Dont know about using supportson it, as i did not and gotten same results up until the extreme ends of act 3 even in merciless. If i would give it a suppor, it would be to give it defence as something lasting full duration or at least 10 seconds is better than 3 seconds of twice as strong.

Edit: well i use it as an opener for everybuild that tried this gem out. It grabs foes and damages a little, or privides crowd control while i can or cant move while casting other stuff. Often killing stuff on its own unless a rare... which about right hiwever no fire ir burn damage boosts.

I generally use Ice Nova to trigger EE on my RF build and I can see MoB's life drop precipitously when EE hits. I dont notice the same for Searing Bond.

Reading through this thread it seems some people's experience is that EE is NOT effective, while others claim it IS. So which is it?

EE requires a hit, it says so in the node tooltip. So Searing bond + Ice Nova IS effective.
