Development Manifesto: Ascendancy Changes

How will the new Deadeye talent work with Magma Orb? (The one with 10% more dmg per chain)
It is per remaining chain. Suppose magma orb chains 5 times. First hit you have 5 remaining chains , so 50%more dmg for that hit. Then you have 4 remaining chains so 40% more for the second and so on. Its especially great for bosses i would assume.
Loving these image filenames...
"NormalShapes" -- Deadeye
"WagonOfPancakes" -- Slayer
"OccultistFilename" -- Occultist
"TheOldWakkaChangChang" -- Trickster
"BatmanAndRobin" -- Chieftain
"HamburgerRecipe" -- Berserker
"LondonNewYork" -- Elementalist
Quand tu souris, je jouis
D'la joie d'sourire aussi
Elementalist is so freakin bad.

You can rename her to golementalist, nobody will use it for anything else

Lol, Elementalist can be used in tons of new builds now
It is one of the best classes after rework

Ascendant: choose two major nodes of you ascendancy of choice

just to bring the power in line you must follow the tree.

Ie: if you chose slayer and wanted "brutal fervour" you would need to take "endless hunger" first

For? Autobomber assa is better
Caster inq or Assa will better

Ignite is garbage and the prolif after aoe nerfs still is 12

theres no use for it exept golemancer

Fire pen while heraöd of ash is the biggest lul
Still waiting for Scion changes
On the other hand this Deadeye looks great for Lightning Strike buiild
"War's over, soldier. You just don't know it yet. Everybody lost."
I give my quick summery to all new posted Ascendancy classes:

Chieftain:
-Hell yeah, finally some love for the Chief. I am fired up!

Berserker:
-Seemingly nerfed to the ground. Not feeling the rage when you are dead.
______________
Hierophant:
-Path of totems ... so strong, even as self-cast. Loving it!

Guardian:
-Same as usual. Keep going!
______________
Raider:
-Onslaught or frenzy? I don't care anyways.

Pathfinder:
-Hard to find a path that actually changed ;)

Deadeye:
-Seems worthy now. Might even be my league starter?
______________
Champion:
-Looks way more attractive. A little strange new mechanic with "Adrenalin".

Slayer:
-Gutted! Not that I care. Played way to much slayer in 3.1. It needed the nerf!
______________
Assassin:
-Crit "identity" is back. Finally no bleed dependency. Ultimate Bosskiller?

Trickster:
-Very strong and versatile! Best shadow so far... I like the new routing.
______________
Elementalist:
-Meh, still not feeling it.

Occultist:
-The mistress of darkness is back .. with more energy shield, chaos damage and curses than ever, they even stick. Really great! Hopes are up that finally some old builds work again.

I will make my final judgement as soon as Juggernaut, Inquisitor, Gladiator and Ascendant roll out. Lots of good changes, some meh, yet alot of classes do not deserve to be called a "revamp".

muzic7xfreak answered your actual question, but I wanted to add that I'm interested to see how it works with gloomfang, which featured in a mathil build recently.
Gloomfang adds 15-20% non-chaos as chaos per time it has chained, and this skill adds 10% per remaining chain ... so using them both together means you benefit no matter how many chains are left. It's an interesting option, even if it doesn't benefit from Far Shot and others that state they affect Attacks.
