I really like the changes in your shiny filter. Looks super clean and simple! I am really curious what the rest of the filter may look like.. really promising.

Thanks! Motivating to hear it's in the right direction, already have most functionality back under half the size but missing tiered items (cards, uniques, talismans, etc) and league content still.

Also affix filtering miiiight not be in the league release, we'll see, I want to change the approach a bit and the existing filtering sort of works but isn't super reliable so if it's not ready I'd sooner cut it (with a block to grab T1 affixes still) and work it out later.

Updated preview for currency

So the way stacks work is there's single, small and large stacks. Small defaults to 2 or more and large defaults to 10 (to be adjusted), but these are both configurable and interact with the visibility settings. There is a third configurable value for the stack size past relevant DropOff points (AreaLevel threshold), so you can for example consider 5 to 30 scrolls of wisdom a small stack and hide those while leveling, with only 30+ showing as a large stack, and hiding stacks under 15 once passing area level 78.

Finally, you can use the interface to hide currency with high granularity - These settings exist for each type of currency. Currency is grouped roughly by usage and then adjusted by scarcity, with stack size modifying FontSize further.

Some popular currencies get background highlights as well to make sure they stand out in a pile of loot.

The only thing I think I would change with this new style is the beams. Would personally love currency to have one color beam, div cards another color and so on. So that I always knows whats what even on the minimap :-)
Other than that, its truly beautiful.

Beams don't affect the display on the minimap, that'd be MinimapIcon. Right now the beam color indicates rarity of the drop and permanent currency beams occur only on large stacks for most currency (higher end currency has a beam on small stacks too, and top tier stuff has a beam on singles).

The MinimapIcon for currency is the Diamond, so you can identify the drops that way.

I'll reduce the variance for currency beam colors but I think it will still be linked to tier and not drop type.

Thanks again for the kind words :)

Ahhh okay, I didnt know that. Then its all good :)
Made good progress today, think everything is covered by the first pass. Second pass and playtesting tomorrow and that night/morning of I'll add the actual league content. Did a bit of play today to make sure the customization didn't break.

Spoiler
Interface is WIP

Spoiler
Note that Filterblast doesn't preview the cursor highlight, base defence, and in general the contrast is slightly cleaner in-game.

Feedback welcome!

Okay, I've updated just the Default preset here so if you're already subscribed you can check it out and make suggestions! Come join me in a practice run with the Shiny Edition Beta before the league launches.
https://www.pathofexile.com/item-filter/OVxKosE

I'll release Pre-Geared and Lite with the league, as well as any other changes I make (the interface is still messy so no filterblast link yet).

SHINY EDITION is a rewrite (70% at a guess) to overhaul the filter for clarity and consistency. Consider it a major polish pass.

Here's some shiny loot from the way to Kaom.
Spoiler

Appears slightly cleaner in-game. The Sage's Robe is slightly pink and is a perfect base defence roll on an up-to-date rare. The shadow axe would be caught as a 4L but is RGB anyway.

- This is hopefully another big step up to follow the PLUS update a long time ago, the filter should feel more lavish and muted compared to the previous version. In most cases bright color combinations are replaced with more organic and natural colors.

- Assume everything has changed, unless you recognize the exact highlight from before it's probably been replaced or altered.

- Partial support for stack size filtering for currency, affects core campaign and atlas drops atm but will expand into league currency. This filtering checks against single, small, and large stack sizes, as well as a stack/AreaLevel comparison, and some early game FontSize boosts. Stacks gain size and contrast as they move up in size.

- Better racing support than before, still working on it but 3L/4L items get a racing highlight which some other race highlights (accessories/flasks) are tied to.

- Rewritten obsolete filtering is a little tighter, flasks and league bases are now exact (if a 45 base is outdated by a 70 one it will stop showing there instead of at another step).

- Base Defence filtering is also rewritten and a lot cleaner. BD% is broken into fewer stages than before which allows me to use fewer, more legible, tone combinations. NOTE: If you play with the Beta and think items are showing for no reason, BD% may be the reason (the filter shows all up-to-date rares by default and all rares in maps due to chaos/regal recipes).
Spoiler
Base Defence Defaults: (low 20% - mid 40% - high 60% - near perfect 80% - perfect 100%)

- Beams and Minimap icons are more consistent and have less variation

- Div card and unique tiering uses the old setup atm, as well as some leagues (partially converted).

- Font sizes are slightly smaller overall and much more variable. In the interface you'll be able to adjust the base size and modifiers to that base size separately.

- THERE IS ALSO NOT MUCH AFFIX FILTERING FOR REGULAR DROPS THOUGH THIS WILL PROBABLY BE THE CASE FOR RELEASE TOO. AFFIX FILTERING WILL RETURN.

I also want to mention standard players and ask them to check for any old items that could use a historical highlight (currently Demigod items receive this).

EDIT: Highlights for uniques that could come from a league are gone and in general I've integrated league mechanics into core drops, as they're part of the core game.

Give it a shot! :D

Updated Shiny Edition Beta (still only accessible by subbing to the Default preset) with some more changes and the first pass at the new Sound setup.

Spoiler
Already caught the fragments > fragment thing

Spoiler
I have two unused sounds for when I get to affix filtering, for positive matches and for dream items

Ready for launch!

Cut it moderately close but shhhhh we're fiiiiine. If I'd started a day later it wouldn't have been hahaha. Shiny Edition isn't finished but it's in a workable state now.

Filterblast customization interface is back up and hopefully a lot more usable than before, do let me know!

https://filterblast.xyz/Felix35071/

You can also subscribe to the Default, Pre-geared, and Lite versions of the filter at the below link.

https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Felix35071/item-filters

Default is the same as what the interface presents you, and both Pre-geared and Lite are made with the same interface. None of the presets can assume what build you use, so if you want to limit what up-to-date bases show you need to use Filterblast.

If you need help or have ideas, let me know!

Good luck with the league everyone! Bird waifu?

Edit: It seems the Pre-geared and Lite presets aren't eager to load in-game, they're loading the old version of the filter for me. Not much I can do about it just gotta give it a minute, I'm sure a lot of filters are syncing at once.

Edit2: Some of the fixes that need to load in include:
- Rare sound used for uncommon currency
- Sounds being played on hidden items
- Mistiered uniques (technically it was saying "low tier uniques have unknown value" which could be considered right lol)

Edit3: Alright I think they're synced now

Some examples from leveling:
Spoiler

This is the Default preset in a level 16 area.

Spoiler

This is everything including what the Default preset hid.

Spoiler

This is the Pregeared preset. There's no picture for Lite as the only item showing is the Calling Wand.

Worked on the filter more than I played today lol

* Lots of misc changes I probably forgot plenty of tweaks
* Divines have a larger base size and a brighter background
* Did another pass on sounds and minimap icons
* Did first real pass at beams
* Further adjusted behavior for new summoner items, more aggressively hiding them if not rare
* Made a fancy highlight for surveyor's > charged compass. It's CHARGED yo.
* Many icon and beam colors changed or were added to almost anything with a drop sound
* Adjusted sizing and minimap/beam color of certain currency that stands out in its bracket
* Sacred Blossom is more legible
* Jewels have icon colors relating to their content type rather than rarity, Cluster Jewels have a White icon, Eye Jewels a Blue icon, and regular jewels a Grey icon
* Influences alter the text color of items instead of background, so they don't conflict with the Affix filtering to come
* Influence colors match fragment colors now
* Adjusted Midnight and some other fragment highlights
* Better handling for corrupted items
* Oni-goroshi gets a unique highlight
* Fixed some typos
* Adjusted Default a bit

* Cleaned up some UX in filterblast, including Methodology so people have any idea at all what means what.
* Added EndgameBases inputs to Equipment: Special Bases - This section by default prevents certain endgame viable bases from hiding (ex: fossillised shields) but is versatile enough to be used to hunt other bases or ban specific ones without interfering with the rest of the filter.

Edit: I also added a README to the bottom of the OP in the forum here, so you don't need to look in Filterblast to see what icons and colors indicate.

Edit2: This was in for the initial shiny beta release but there's an experimental Heist section in case anyone wants to target specific equipment. Or y'know, hide contracts

* Adjusted behavior for ornate quivers and removed them from regular quiver selection
* Adjusted behavior for maraketh and atlas bases to be less eager to show if not Rare. As a side effect they now have two different borders (maraketh orange and atlas more red) which are visible when hidden, so you can find bases more easily than before while actually seeing fewer items.
* Adjusted Endgame bases a bit with similar restrictions
* Adjusted which Utility flasks hide by default upon reaching maps
* Tweaked no implicit/white socket corrupted items to have a border whether you show them or not
* 6S item background is a little cleaner
* Extended high ilvl highlighting to match off-build, build, and endgame selections. High ilvl bases will show regardless of rarity if they are up-to-date and meet the other requirements rather than a solitary requirement (which would show outdated bases). High ilvl is broken into 80+ and 86+, ilvl 100 is independent as a race reward/div card drop. This section does not affect flasks, I'll tackle that when I do affix filtering again.
* Added breach rings to special bases (they would have always shown before anyway)
* Changed 6L filtering to guarantee the specific highlight even with other properties. Previously 6Ls could be shrunken down as a result of being on outdated bases, or overridden by corruption (still showing).

Edit: Further updated the OP of this thread. Check the spoilers!
