Update is out that tidies up strictness for the new loot paradigm.
* Made sorting adjustments and added customization so hiding endgame bases is more targeted - in general this means items that show are up-to-date as before but also require either reasonable links, base defence values, or other properties to not be hidden once entering maps. This change makes the filter SIGNIFICANTLY stricter than NS Semi-strict by default (previously comparable to slightly-more items shown) with further thinning of items via the presets and customization. * Extended Endgame base options to separate rare items out for more granularity. * Added iLvl 80 and 86 breakpoints for border highlights * Added a dropoff for normal flasks even if top tier past which they hide, retaining a minimap icon (this happens on a per case basis so lmk if you disagree). In the interface you can set this to magic and adjust the level (Default 70). * Refined chaos/regal recipe highlight (off by default) to only include two handed weapons, not include shields, etc for more efficient recipes. * Other misc adjustments Edit: Fixed normal/magic 6 socket mirrored items hiding NOTE: FilterBLAST does not currently represent Base Defences fully so the item appearances aren't 1:1 and it may affect loot explosion previews. Text brightness is determined by Base Defences in the filter which is also used to hide low potential items. https://filterblast.xyz/Felix35071/ https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Felix35071/item-filters I am updating the console versions at this time as well, they will not work until the league is up later tonight. The console version is now slightly larger as a baseline to make it better for play on TVs. I want to reiterate the filter is a LOT STRICTER NOW once you reach maps. Let me know what you think. As a side effect the other two presets are also stricter, I have not done much testing to see where they ended up. *You call into the void. How do people feel about the Default preset? Are there recipes I should show/hide by default that I don't? Other clutter items?
Currently the filter by default shows chromatics, 20% flasks and any decent utility flask base, gems over 5%, gems over 10% (and at or past 20% but those are obvious), 6 socket and of course 6L items, and hammers for the chisel recipe (by rarity to only require 1 or 2 whetstones max) And by default it doesn't highlight chaos or regal recipe, or regular quality equipment (also set to only require 1 or 2 scraps/whetstones). Chance bases are also not on by default. It shows 3 links until 25 (Act III), 4 links until 75, and 5 links until 82. The safety nets for all items and rare items are 3 and 25 respectively, below which area level they'll show those items. Maraketh bases that are normal or magic start hiding at 52 (they also hide as they become outdated as usual). Does Base Defence matter enough to hide low/mid rolled rares? (< 20 / < 50) What about high or near perfect? ( < 80 / < 100 ) Should Perfect bases show regardless of rarity? *You call into the void. Any specific examples that would help?

I reached maps without any filter issues :) Now in maps and I am trying the chaos recipe but don't really know what to look for. I'll figure it out soon enough ;)

" Good to hear! How's the sizing/legibility of items on console? The chaos recipe is disabled by default (shows tons of items) and like I mentioned in an earlier post the filter got a lot stricter (more aggressively hiding rares), so definitely let me know if you think it's too strict once in maps. I was doing the chaos recipe with pretty much just boss drops since the changes boosted the rarity there. *You call into the void. Just about to hit maps (currently at the end of act 9) and decided to switch over to this filter, I haven't played much with it but from what I gathered so far this seems to be what I'm looking for (as I only play SSF).
I do have one request, would it be possible to have predefined filters for certain archetype builds and being able to subscribe to them? Ie, one for melee, one for casters, one for summoners, one for ranged. |

" Welcome :) Let me know if you find any unreadable highlights or clashing combinations, still working through those after the update. As for your request, it's a choice between strictness and archetype presets or the number would balloon (with a default/pregeared/lite preset per archetype). I also feel showing melee weapons and not ranged or caster weapons is still pretty general, and so not targeted enough to be used over the customizer. If you want to make a custom filter you can use the FilterBLAST interface: To make it suited for an archetype as you're saying you can set off-build rares to hide (won't hide accessories) in the General Settings and then toggle Weapon/Armour Upgrades to Show on the items you use in Equipment: Weapons and Equipment: Armours. You can also leave off-build rares showing and just add a highlight for when items for your build drop.
Spoiler
Here is an example that sets up the filter for 2 handed melee. In the Armours tab you'd similarly toggle ARUpgrade, ESUpgrade, or other defensive options based on what you use (toggle off checkboxes for slots you don't need upgrades for, DO NOT leave an input completely empty anywhere in the filter or it'll reset that option - ie leave ARUpgrade as Remove instead of Show with all boxes empty if you're not using AR bases)
