Yes, but they could drop the price and open up the option for more people to want to pay.

People who say "think of the 90 bucks as a donation" are not thinking things out properly. A microtransaction shop is not created for people to donate, its created for people to snag things at a reasonable price for their ingame characters. The key word here is "reasonable" right? 90 bucks for a single pet is ridiculously overpriced and everyone knows that. I have spent plenty of money on PoE already and I am sure I will spend more. But seriously... 90 for one pet? Haha, no.

Think of it as a donation. It isn't something that's for sale for it's value alone.

Meh, the same could be said for a $20 weapon effect that adds no functionality. Other than stash tabs, anything you buy from them is mostly just to support their efforts, and get something nifty in return.
