I think the issue with "minimum requirements" in PoE is that the phrase genuinely doesn't make sense or mean anything. Because I would want to know, "minimum requirements for what?" Different types of content in this game have WILDLY different performance demands; I'm on a pretty powerful machine but I would still have to significantly lower my settings to do blight-ravaged maps compared to baseline mapping content.
But ultimately... it's not a serious issue for anyone taking their gaming hobby seriously. If you're playing on old hardware, you aren't going to run modern games as well. You know this, I know this, we all know this, it's not revolutionary or controversial as a concept. And (especially with the spike in component prices), maybe an upgrade isn't in your budget right now. But that just means you need to match the games you want to play with the hardware you have access to; there are tons of great games from 10+ years ago that you could run on a modern calculator. It's not the rest of the world's job to cater to your specific circumstances. And this is all assuming that there is literally nothing you could do to improve those circumstances. Because... let's all be honest here, anyone with the spare time to play PoE at any remotely high level could easily pick up a part time job and save for a PC upgrade, were they so inclined. This game is a very real time sink, and time is valuable. |

3 Gb VRAM, not even 4Gb VRAM are nowhere close to be able to run PoE2 Act 3 at all. |

Additionally, the minimum hardware requirements are different than what he lists for PoE 1. So basically the entire post is ONLY pointing to PoE 2.
