False Minimum Hardware Requirements
"Where are you even from? 2.5x sounds brutal. Curious. I, for one, don't like pressing too many buttons. That doesn't make me unskilled, lazy, complacent or whatever other descriptor you are trying to pluck from your vocabulary. - Unknown philosopher, ca. 2025

" "The only thing" means you can't get an education or a job? Because those are things you can do. Invest in yourself instead of hoping for handouts. Don't pretend to have no agency The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" Can't, and I don't want to anyways. I don't mind how long I gotta wait for stuff to happen in my favor, so its whatever, I'm in no rush. And besides that, the performance problems and shader stuff is undeniable, so many people are affected. Can't be explained away with just "outdated hardware". I know an unoptimized game when I see one. And yeah I think they should update their system requirements on steam, or actually test the game on them. Other games I play actually run well when I have the minimum,or recommended specs or somewhere around there. That is the whole point of those requirements, minimum should mean the game is still playable on those, and devs test their games on PCs with those specs to make sure to optimize them for those kinds of setups. How a game runs is way more important than graphics or particle effects. |

"Always sad to see people who have given up on themselves. No matter the circumstances there's always a way but each to their own. On topic: Minimum means just that, the absolute minimum to start the software. Minimum system requirements define the absolute lowest hardware (CPU, RAM, GPU, storage) and software (OS, drivers) a computer needs to run an application at all, ensuring basic functionality but often resulting in slow performance, low graphics, or longer load times. Both PoE 1 and 2 hit that mark. It never said anywhere that the entire game is playable on those specs. I, for one, don't like pressing too many buttons. dialup age had minimum requirements for games too......they maybe took an hour to load and frequently crashed, but they still technically "ran" on those minimums.
It's a shame its not "Minimum requirements for x performance"... Starting anew....with PoE 2

" Not OP but here in Portugal, the same RAM stick set that I purchased for 60€ is currently being sold at 220€ Edit: Correction, went up to 290€ Pff, who even plays Standard? Last edited by ZarkBit#6794 on Dec 26, 2025, 9:36:21 AM

"That's just hardware (ram, ssd's, gpu's) in general right now.. unfortunately. The 32GB kit I bought in 2023 for 160€ now costs 554€. I, for one, don't like pressing too many buttons. " In that case my bad. Sorry. On pics you were comparing to 5060. |

Yes, because there is no 5050 Ti for me to compare to.
