It doesn't matter, they could've come up with 1000 different RF trans gems. The fact you need to go to the lab to get them in the first place makes RF as a league starter a dead build. It is as simple as that.

Come on, until level ~60 new RF is superior to old one, due to how life and damage from gem level scale (respectively linear and exponential). NEW RF is absolutely fine for acts, the problem being it falls off very fast in maps.

In the meantime you can farm first lab until you get your transf RF, or just buy it if no SSF.
