If someone from GGG scrolls back through the thread they'll see maybe 4 or 5 people in favor of ultrawide and a majority of posts against it. Seems like an exercise in futility, but you do you

Of course, and it is one of basic points on why black bars currently achieve nothing constructive. Last time I mention this here it got deleted in 20 seconds. Windowed is not even the best solution available.

Fix it " Anyone reading this thread will find that there are no logical reasons given in over a year for why black bars should be in the game besides "it's not worth dev time to address 0.5% of users". Ignoring the obvious fallacies/non arguments in the thread, every other argument for the inclusion of black bars is either: 1) based upon one or more factually false premises Or 2) based upon the assumption that if problems can be demonstrated with ultrawide resolutions, black bars necessarily follow as an appropriate solution That is literally 100% of everyone's collective arguments for black bars in nearly 2 years.
