i personally prefer buying packs/ points on poe over buying any major AAA game release for 60+ bucks... but to each their own i guess...

It's not the 5 points, it's the fact that you can buy 100 points with one transaction, or 150 points with two. So by making it 105 instead of 100 GGG is forcing you to spend $15 instead of $10 to get it.

Fifty points actually, or an extra five dollars. Apparently you failed to recognize the argument - that's fifty points I don't need. But that I'd have to buy only cos of needing those five points, cos GGG only sells point packs in set increments. I hope you haven't been falling for that trick all this time. For your sake. And GGG isn't the only company that does it, so you may very well have been duped for extra cash even more in other games or IRL.

And no, I have nothing else I'd like to buy with the extra 45 points, so don't even try advancing that argument. Nor is this a one-off - tricks like that are common in the store, so it adds to a lot of extra money taken off of people who didn't want to spend as much, but were made to do so by design.
