I mean....if you're playing it properly, Discharge IS your clear. I'm not seeing it.

Hey all! I think i'm finally throwing in the towel on summoner as the playstyle is much too boring. After combing through many guides over the last few days, this one seems to be the one that intrigues me the most! Just a couple questions if you dont mind.

How did you go about leveling (main skill)? When did you make the switch to discharge? Also are there any recommended leveling uniques to carry through the acts until we can get the higher level suggested items (aside from the obvious tabula)? Thanks in advance and can't wait to start this build when I get home from work!

You can also mule Firewall to Marauder (takes a little longer than just break the eggs muling though) but holy moly is it worth it! Firewall is actually pretty god damn bonkers to level with!

And since you mentioned summoner, I assume you got a duelist, templar or witch at higher levels, so you can just buy gems with that char instead. Cus you're gonna need quite a few, since Marauder doesn't even get Ignite Prolif (EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE A FREAKING ASCENDANCY THAT IS LITERALLY FIRE BASED, WHAT, GGG FIX YOUR GAME?!?!) and just generally other caster focused gems.

The whole skill gems thing is so annoying and limiting. I don't get it. We already have a level requirement and a stat requirement. Why is a class restriction needed when leveling. Any of them can use anything they want if they meet the other 2 requirements.

You are misunderstanding the usage of the boots. It is not for their ability.
It is for the Line:
When you Kill an Ignited Enemy, inflict an equivalent Ignite on each nearby Enemy.

Meaning the ignite from the Discharge spreads along beyond just the circle Ignite Proliferation makes. Closest thing to compare it with is contagion.

Abberath's Hooves and Discharge can mostly finish a Monolith in a single cast.
Hey man..

I am playing your build atm.. Mapping is really great but for me the boss dps is really really bad idk what i am doing wrong.. t16 conq takes ages for me..

Mby you can help me a bit.

And Thx alot for this Build its doing his thing but dmg whise on bosses its not that great for me atleast.
Thanks for the leveling tips everyone! Going to start him up now. Will update in a day or two :)
Any suggestions how to approach crafting a CDR belt? I'm looking for a 70+ life roll along with 20-30 fire and cold res and of course the T1 CDR roll.

I understand just fine. Discharge is linked with prolif so.....and I finish Monoliths without the boots without issue.
Not seeing it. The game is about opportunity cost. The boots are totally wasted on Abberaths, for this build.

It's not wasted, just has to be built around, it makes your ignite "chain".
That's why I suggested it in the build guide to start with. I just wasn't aware of its interaction with Eye of Innocence. After finding that out it isn't worth it for normal map clear. We move and discharge fast enough with enough AoE we can clear quickly in our current form.

Our current ignite is basically our radius plus a few units. It will never go beyond that, because our proliferation doesn't create a new ignite, it only allows our current one to exist for a few seconds.

So imagine a single line of mobs 75 units long, with our current ignite, we either discharge from the start and kill 40ish of the mobs, or flame dash to the middle and clear them all. With Hooves you can discharge from the first one and kill the last one without moving. Your ignite will crawl down the line.

This is why I wasn't seeing the same issues people were on blighted maps, I was using Hooves when I ran mine and it spreads like wildfire. With enough DPS, you could just stand at the growth and discharge on CD.

Yeah, gotta sacrifice a charge to get it to chain with Ngamahu's Sign countering the damage from Eye of Innocence. I like playing it like you would ED/Contagion. Hit the edge of a pack and it will clear all of it.
Hit a Monolith dead-center and you will kill most of the mobs. (Ignite DPS matters here so it doesn't peter out in the middle) Allowing you to head for the chest/boss.

Prefer it over Sunspite for any maps that isn't just a huge open area. Having it chain around corners and into rooms on it's own saves so much time.
