I want to play dual strike in 3.0, but I'm not completely if play as marauder or duelist. You said it's better as a marauder, right?

Are you going to upgrade to 3.0? I have not seen anything about the new patch so I don't know if it changes the passive tree a lot.

Passive tree will remain the same so long as they don't change the tree itself, which I cannot forsee

Gear will remain as-is, except those who use Belly of Beast instead of Bringer of Rain helm may eventually want to upgrade to one of those hybrid life chests if they are worth the hype.

I may swap out two gems- bloodlust+melee dmg on full life and drop the Voidheart ring due to damage over time nerf. Will swap them for rare life ring and Brutality gem for sure and maybe for some other gem like Ruthless Blows. Totem will become less important since bleed will be gone.

Overall, everything is just minor. Vaal Pact is not getting the nerf for life builds so my build will remain the same really. Another boring, unchaging year of the same samey same same POE.

marauder+berserker=win
duelist is poorly optimized in start tree and you need berserker anyway or death
