Just want to say I highly recommend this for people new to the game especially hardcore (and thanks for the great build milky)

I used this build to bank roll 2 other characters in PHC this league, its a very safe, solid dps, cheap and certainly has a advantage over flame totem (essentially killing packs faster). Your also tri curse so a) that's great in parties and b) you can level several curses and pick what ones for specific content.

The build is dirt cheap, my character has a 5l carcass but thats purely quality of life making the aoe bigger (I played for quite some time in a amour based chest). I changed a couple things because I did not plan to take him past mid tier maps 9-10 is about as high as I go on him and at this point even a DC would not kill me in that content.


6.1k hp 400+ es, 500 health regen per second, can confirm hardcore viable for new players.

the play style takes a bit to get usto , running past mob packs dropping a totem and only stopping if you hear your loot filter alert.

Next league this will be my first build again.
Whatever army I have, I'll lead against them...

Contrary to the first video showing the Uber kill, i've clearly more DPS but i still need practice to avoid stupid deaths.

On my first try i lost all portals on vaal (was lev 91 with old stuff)

On my second try, (yesterday) my HP is more than 6.9k and my defenses are good using determination (more than 12k armor) + temporal chain and enfeeble (blasphemy). However, i put the third curse on curse on hit setup with orb of storm (aslo used to proc elemental equilibrium and elemental overloard). It's occur that i'm cursed with flammability against atziri and my plan was to dodge every flameblast.

On this try, i manage vaal with due care and i die 1 time on the trio and 3 times on atziri cause of bad moove and flamabily during the split phase.

I've run a third run just after the second run and i've failed because i lost 2 portals on vaal and 4 portals on atziri.

For my next runs, i plan to change the helmet only for atziri using a tree curse setup on blasphemy. I will probably record. For the moment i need farm for the set.
Hm in 2.1 i only had problems with atziri, which killed my totems (well, no chieftain).
Vaal is just dps and positioning (not getting sandwiched)
Trio was pretty relaxed with temp chains after the titty bitch is dead... well and atziri is training training training and a bit luck.

Temp chains can sometimes make the fight harder, i would rather take vulnerability in instead.
Ive read some stuff that temp chains makes the blasts even more delayed and the chainreaction of explosions starts while still new stormcalls are casted.
experienced the same in normal atziri (or projectPTs latest death).
A 2nd set of doedres scorn can help a bit (if one has currency for uber that shouldnt be a big deal)

I have a somewhat generic question. Sorry if this has been answered before, but I scoured the first post and couldn't find a definitive yes or no.

Do Jewels with generic "Increased Damage" modifiers (and for that matter, the Sulphur flasks) boost the Righteous Fire damage output from the Spell Totem?

I can see it very clearly boosting the damage of the Searing Bond Totem, because that actually lists a DPS. However, the RF Totem doesn't display it, so it's hard to tell.

yes it does, the increased damage modifier works like "increased fire/burning/etc damage" on the skilltree etc
