" Uh.. you obviously need to trade more. 4L items flip for an alch all the time, that's an easy trade that is suggested to newbie players all the time to generate some starting pools of currency. You're just looking for reasons to not work at this point. |

i think that codt was really fun to play, made a lot of interesting builds out of it, and made already existing builds more fun to play. We just going back with this change. But i am not worried cuz i know that ggg guys are not stupid and they will thinking this changes a bit more and find a better solution.

GGG how silly is this move...
You make a build of the week that people motivates and encourages to imitate the mechanics of the new skill, and since *suprisingly* a lot of people are following the video you need to nerf the skill some weeks after because too many people use it... This gem was the only good thing in your release, all other suff is kinda MEH. GGG you should google on wikipedia the terms "BALANCING", "TESTING" and "ENTERTAINMENT". All three things you have no idea of... Thumbs down! I am so lucky that I have found the currency in Nemesis to buy a CoDT and try it out. I have a level 64 and a level 55 and like 7 chaos to my name. Also found 4 junk uniques since I started playing Nemesis =( I thought uniques would drop a little more... and I am gears tuck on both my high levels

" Low level defensive gems are pointless other than Enduring cry which can't be relied on at low level or at mid level proc. There has become one solitary use for CwDT. Low lvl CwDT + low lvl End cry. Levelling up CwDT is pointless, low lvl MS is pointless, low lvl enfeeble is pointless, low lvl IC is pointless, low lvl totems die in 1 hit. Break the 4 Link to a 2L + 1 + 1. CwDT +Enduring Cry low level 20Q Free cast 20/20 Enfeeble Free cast 20/20 Enduring cry Basically, there will be some fights where after free casting your charges, the fight will maintain them. I can totally understand, that CODT needed to be changed, because everyone was using it with the same combo and it really was extremely powerful.
I am just wondering, why nobody has realized this (during alpha and beta testing), before it went live in the released version. I know, that simulating / testing a live environment is extremely difficult and you cannot anticipate/test, with what kind of crazy ideas people will come up in the live realm, but in this case it seemed to be quite obvious, that the skill gem was unbalanced in the first place. That would not have been a big problem while being in beta, but now the game is released and I would rather prefer to have less patches, if this will result in avoiding such situations in the future. |
