Why can't inner force nodeset be 4%/4%/12% so make an even 20%. All this uneven stuff is confusing, now I use a fire res pot and get 1.8% extra but it doesn't show up as 1.8, displays as 1 extra percent. So am I actually getting 1.8% more to max res or what?

an experienced pvper knows that anti stun/freeze is a MUST in pvp so even thinking about not using that would be a dumb idea. and as for heavy strike maras......you have a 56k flicker? knockback wont do shit to you, and if you get another flicker to combo it with most people will die within 1-2 flicker if you really have 56k dps.... no pots?? granite + quicksilver immunity pots are all you need as a CI crit dagger build, and if you get in trouble WB WB WB WB 5 seconds later your back to full health, its not that hard to get 5-6k ES which would be enough pool to be able to take a hit or to from the very top maras. and bear traps are pretty easy to counter if your a good pvper you will always carry an arc with you for anyone that stoops to BT to win. and as for block builds, thats probably the biggest counter to shadows as there can be. that being said all it takes is 1 crit from punture to land and they could die.
shadows in pvp have a pretty big advantage now considering that dmg from end game melee pvpers will most likely be completely mitigated becides a % or two, i admit they are restriced by gear a little bit but since they can get a huge amount of pool on chest/shield/helm/boots thats enough to get more than anyone who has stacked alot of HP pots but doesnt have a koams or godly HP gear.
All in all, this patch is a bigger buff to melee/crit builds more than any other. i just wish they would add some crit nodes around the bottom of the tree so its possible for duelist/ranger melees to take advantage intead of being forced into resolute technique.
Yeah u r generally right since when i win it seems so cheap cause it is one hit.And i do use the anti stun-cannot be frozen,but still getting chilled-shocked etc in the very fisrt hit.As for flicker,since there is no stuff to kill to gain frenzy charges,it is one fliker only.Yes u can run away until the cooldown but if the opponent is experienced he wont let u do it.As for 56k DPS it is not even hard to get(skill tree plus abysus-maligaros-300DPS dagger and a 5L flicker strike(melee-melee on full-multistrike-increased crit damage and 5 frenzies).As for potions,any build can have all those options(remove curse etc)AND they can replenish their HP.Plus enfeeble DESTROYS crit shadows.My point is that since i am able to one hit most ppl right now,and still get owened(so far RF builds and tank marauders are the most OP pvpers),things arent gonna change.I ll still be able to one hit ppl and others would deal more damage to me as well

This feels a bit like d3. Melee was unplayable for various reasons. D3 nerfed damage to make melee playabe and nerfed ranged characters at the same time. Then WOTB barb was invented which was FAR more powerful than any previous character build (ranged or melee). I guess we'll see if there will be a build as powerful as WOTB post patch.

Well, they could probably change that, if RF burn aura for your main DPS is indeed a build that people want to make but is being stifled.
As for RF users concerns over the EA nerf, I'm not strictly for or against it. I can understand making EA less of a super necessary node, but GGG should probably add other ways to gain max resist and fast. Possibly as an affix on jewelry or through more nodes.
They already stated that they do not want people to be able to hit 100% elemental resist even with pots.

When the new patch goes live, test it. Leave feedback in the beta feedback sections of the forums afterward. If you find that something is broken or unbalanced, express that concern in a civilized manner in said feedback locations. Broken skills will then be re-balanced to fit the new systems (changed in this patch) in subsequent patches. Thank you.
