PoE2 has very few viable builds, why are patch notes nothing but nerfs?

This 100% locks supports to rarity bot ritualist and support ritualist. Haven’t seen you counter that point big guy.

What a patch where all support builds became the same class AND ascendancy.

2/6 slots in spell caster comp forced ritualist, 2/6 slots in atk comp forced ritualist 1 forced tactician, wow. Diverse.

They had to remove item rarity entirely from all gear then it would be truly balanced and better too for the game, it would fix your problem too. Your "fun" tools are bad for the game in the long run, mine arent.
Multiplayer is a meme in the game anyway, there should be no incentive to do it for any kind of profit or abuse of mechanics, its simply a way for friends to play together. This change will make 0 friends play together less.

Be grateful they didnt apply the change in middle of the last league, you had 6 months with it.

Time will show if this was a smart long term decision or a foolish one. We won’t have to debate semantics.

By then it’ll be self evident and you’ll say “but how could you have known all the cause and effect then before all the changes showed”

And I will reply. Because psychology is 90% of how a game works long term. You just took the tool away from a specific type of player who will just go play another game now. It isn’t did this decision already cost players, in the long term it has absolutely destroyed any actual non Meta fun to be had.

You can keep acting salty about groups out farming solo players but honestly there’s a game mode for that complaint. Like I know you don’t care about the players that will now have less things to be interested in thus leading to less desire to play over time, and I know that you clearly don’t understand solo players could

Bs, such a player does not exist. Nobody was playing the game because of some random unique item or solely to be a rarity bot in the game. Those players will just find a different way to play the game, or play like everyone else, just like they found this particular style by playing the game in the first place.

The temple only taught us that devs are afraid to make changes and fixes in a game thats basically beta because they will get too many complaints and review bombs. They probably shouldve fixed the snake asap, and its again great that they fixed it in 0.5 regardless of how many people had "fun" doing the snake.

The game should have more different ways to play and more diverse content, but it should definitely not be focused around stacking things like rarity.

I m that player, and yes i m glad it got nerfed because now i can play something more fun. The idea that my team likes to just walk around supporting me is funny at best, it was simply the strat to do, it had no fun factor outside of the high reward/hour. It is same strat that worked well for long time in poe1 too but there it is called aurabots.

And no, when it is removed I do not quit, I'm happy when it happens.

The guy probably thinks i have fun doing 5way carry in poe1 every day from morning to night too at every league start. It is just chore to do, and I wish it did not exist. But it is easy and consistent mirror/day strat.

If it was up to me i'd remove that too, if you do not do it say good bye to good items because others will, and that is the death of min-maxers like me.

I'd legit be happy to see all strats being balanced, and then i could do what i really like (Which is afking in hideout waiting for item sales) cough cough ignore this last part.

You are playing the wrong type of game if this is what you want, generally ARPG's are going to be kill the monster in 1-2 hits. With the odd elite/champion mob in the mix that might be a bit stronger.

That 1-2 hits may require some setup with say some CC or debuffing the monster (This is my preferred method) or it could be blasting everything off the screen so fast that you don't even know that monsters exist (The Zoom Zoom Method).

Either way this is how ARPG games are played, they are not dodge, dodge, dodge, strike type games, this may work for bosses but it will never work in maps with dozens of creatures trying to attack you.

The challenge in ARPG has always been the getting your character to a level so powerful that nothing is a challenge. Role Playing is a big part of it as well, "I want to summon volcanos and rain fire down on the battlefield" then you go and find a way to make that work.

It is a shame that many people now seem to forget this aspect of gaming, the part where you are playing a character and making it your own.
