Cant do something Good without something BAD.

Beautiful update with enormous potential..... and lets kill deterministic craft more.

Maybe fix ground loot first, so tier 5 stuff would not come 3it 3 of 6 shtty affixes? REcombinator - RIP, 2 perfect essences on 1 item - RIP. Could let at least 2 "crafted modifiers" or at least "max one crafted modifier for suffix and one for prefixes.

Was so happy for 3 days, seeing change list from 21.05......

Will totems still be able to consume charges for the damage and duration buffs when using ancestral bond? patch notes say "not require consuming charges" instead of "no longer consumes charges."
Kind of classic GGG to wait until after they did all the interviews about the league where they actually answer questions, and then just ooops just 1 more little patch note, crafting is gutted, have fun :(

And people wonder why we dont trust them more... this is a patented GGG move at this point... going limp :s

I will never understand the "i hope GGG never listens to [game mode] players", like wtf? More people playing the way they like is a GOOD thing for the game.

This appears to be a patch hellbent on blunting marshal weapons and attack-based characters. Another step back for crafting. Your ground loot sucks, fix that maybe? No buffs for attack skills that are useless. They say this is not a balance patch but they heavily blunt all these things, rebalancing the game towards a few broken archetypes, and eliminate player freedom around crafting. None of this is fun or creative. You couldn't deterministically craft without hundreds of divines of investment. Now you just can't do it at all? Is the vision to not have good items, and to not enable crafters? Crafting is such a huge part of the game, it's wild that they have silently done this.
I am very happy from this change. Having 3 Essence + Desecrate items was too easy, too deterministic, too cheap item aquisition.

1 crafted mod + no scours/alteration is best course for meaningful loot.
Did they revert the patch notes update? Not seeing the crafting change. Edit: never mind, it's added collapsed.

It is still there, in the 25th of May update section. I don't think it will be reverted unless there will be extremely huge backlash from vast majority of the players, which is, most likely, not going to happen. We will see how it feels like after league starts.

ssf only fun game mode.
yea I don't think this change is going to be bad. I think it will make it actually meaningful to get a 6 godly stats item. it makes finding a double T1 with useful stats satisfying and not just "well it's a temp until tomorrow when I guarantee my self a perfect weapon and be done with item progression"
